Is there a certain post that touched you, made you laugh, or helped you understand something? One that you remember as being particularly helpful? What was it?
 
I will have to dig around, but off the top of my head I would have to say that it would likely be one of Oncefallen's posts. I rely upon his wisdom, experience, humility, integrity and clarity when I am seeking wise counsel regarding a thing.

As far as posts that have made me laugh, I have no doubt that it would be one of Holly's. :)

Yes, the few posts tha told me and the professing Christian world to repent, seek the mercy of God, stop playing games and get serious about sin and disobedience to God, not a very popular post, many hate the messenger, but in reality are hating the truth of God!

What a shame!
 
There are many posts from users in the forums that have inspired me, made me laugh, and led me to introspection. I would have a hard time listing just one.
 
^^^Yeah, kinda the same for me :). A few do stand out in my mind, though....are we supposed to go on a little necro-thread voyage, and come back with links to our buried treasure, PopClick?

Funny, I think I've actually learned the most from the posts I disagreed with, because they forced me to examine exactly WHY I disagreed with them, and come back with biblical evidence to support my opinion. Or in some cases, I have changed my stance entirely after being disagreed with, and that's cool, too!

Overall, I doubt there are many people here who haven't touched me in some way by the things they had to say, whether I agreed with them or not :).

You can link to it/them if you'd like, or you could just mention the basic content of the post... why it was helpful, special, or what it meant to you personally. Either way.

Well... Oncefallen can be insightful... but we won't tell him so. He might get a big head.

I find my posts to be extremely wise and informative. I offer up great uplifting biblical advice for all, and even teach myself something. I am quite truly...a genius.

I have a bad memory so that only ones that stand out are the more recent ones. The 'how long have you been single?' poll thread was quite enlightening to me. I stopped feeling like I was abnormal; being single for 6 years now. I really felt like I was in a community of singles that are more or less going thru the same experiences, frustrations and struggles.
 
I also nominate Holly (NodMyHeadLikeYeah) as one of my all-time funny postees since I've been on CC. She made a very funny post about "Proactiv" way back in 2010 (when I first joined CC) and it was because of that post that I first contacted her (and she kindly responded back to me 6 months later - just kidding, she responded right away and has been trying to get rid of me ever since - lol). Unfortunately that post she made was with her old profile (which is now deleted) so I can't find the post again. Holly, if you remember that "Proactiv" post, could your re-write it here for us all to enjoy???

Another funny postee was NukePooch (do you older CC members remember him???). Here is just one of his posts that he wrote in Julianna's "Sometimes people think I'm....." thread,

Sometimes people think I'm tired because I'm yawning, but.. no, wait, I am tired. I guess they're right.
Wait, who are 'they' and why do 'they' care about my sleep habits anyways?

I remember this post! I also remember laughing my head off about it, long after I was finished reading it.
 
For serious, anything from Jullianna and Stilly is guaranteed to be quality. Kim is always thought provoking, so anything from those three ranks pretty high on my list. There are also a few other people on here whose posts I stalk fairly frequently, I don't always agree with them, but for some reason I just feel more enlightened reading their posts...I don't know why...

If I had to pick one to take the cake...It would be the "Are you interested?" guy looking for a wife. I don't know where the thread is, but it was top notch for sure, teed off by some gorgeous white pants and a great big bow tie. Absolutely perfect.
