My father and my mother met on a party in Spain. My father who is Norwegian and my mother who is Spanish, could not communicate very well in the start. As my mother couldn't speak any English, and I beleive my father couldn't speak much spanish either. He wrote letters to her in English, and a girlfriend of her's helped her with translating the letters. I don't know what more happened, except of that they fell in love, married, and then got a family.
