God said he doesn't allow us to eat certain foods, so why do we eat it if the bible said not to?

Actually in the old testament there is a verse that proves that God allowed the jews to eat any kind of meat, clean and unclean. Also Jesus said "What goes into a man's mouth does not make him 'unclean,' but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him 'unclean.'" Matthew 15:11

"However, you may slaughter and eat meat within any of your gates, whatever you desire, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which He has given you; the unclean and the clean may eat of it, as of the gazelle and the deer. Only you shall not eat the blood; you are to pour it out on the ground like water" - Deuteronomy 12:15-16

So here God allowed the Israelites to eat any clean and unclean meat, only that you shall not eat the blood but you are to pour it out on the ground like water.

God even permitted it back then! But even the Lord Jesus told us it doesnt matter what we eat, its our innerself.

Something to consider:

Revelation 2

I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.20Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 24But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 25But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. 26And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28And I will give him the morning star. 29He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Did i ask you to expand on why you have to make an uncalled comment about pork?

You had nothing to offer but that and question a Bible verse?

No, for those that see will see and those that hear will hear without my expansion.

Ummm... How is my comment about PORK uncalled for???

Well This thread is a discussion about "Should we eat unclean meat from of the old testament", So I am asking you to provide more information about why you think Rev. 2:20 is relevant to this thread. That is a reasonable question and at least one person, so far, agrees with me.
No, for those that see will see and those that hear will hear without my expansion.
OHHHH... so what you are saying is that even tho this is a bible discussion forum... YOU are going to transform it into a bible INFERENCE and ASSUMPTION Forum because we are supposed to possess special mystic powers to read your mind about what you meant ??? Alrighty then.

Why not read the verse and seek understanding.

For you spend more time beating around the bush than talking to it.

We have the liberty to eat whatever we want as long as it not harmful to the health.
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage (Gal 5:1).

Are you a bush???? So sorry... I was just asking reasonable questions to clarify what you intended to communicate... that's the typical way people engage in a discussion.

No, i'm not a bush....
A typical way to engage in conversation you afforded not the person who started this thread.

Your input went unchallenged, yet you sought to question the Bible verse that would go against the idea that we can eat whatever with no offence.

Where in your verse do you get the conclusion that bacon-eaters are going to fill up hell? I honestly don't see where one could even argue it from the verse.

By the way Loveme since you didnt feel like answering let me guess
the point you tried to make.

That you saw the word animals that u considered unclean.

well that isnt the point at all in that context the point is the idols
you of all people should know that.

Take the idols out of the context and the animals are clean.
