the 'new world order' and 'the antichrist' and 'the illuminati' are all distracting squirrels...in fact they aren't even there...
I read in the Bible the anti-christ is taught by Paul and Christ ,etc. It's written and ease to document.

That’s funny, if I was the devil I would convince Christiansabout 'end time' speculation with asmuch unbiblical and nonfactual gobbledygook as possible to keep the churchdistracted, as well.

By saying there is no antichrist in the end, and that prophecyis already fulfilled, and that there is no great tribulation coming, and that Jesuscame in the clouds and the angels gathered the elect from one end of heaven tothe other end of the earth in 70 AD.

I would also say if I was the devil that the end of theworld doesn’t mean the end of the world
And that the end of the world means 70AD. And the man of sinalready sat some were in the past

If that doesn’t keep Christians in the dark I don’t knowwhat will.
my post wasn't promoting preterism...so you are preaching to the choir there...

my post was a criticism of the modern 'pinky and the brain' variant of futurism...conspiracy eschatology...

neither paul nor jesus say anything about 'the antichrist'... the only biblical writer to use the term 'antichrist' is john...and he says there is more than one and that they are already here...

The majority of Christians will be deceived with the present things being taught, because the teachings are contrary to the Word of God. But no body really cares because their denomination believes such an such and they don't want to search the truth out anyway.
The important thing is that we don't allow side issues and quarrels over side issues distract us from what we are supposed to be doing: walking / abiding in the Spirit, living the Word of God (not just talking about it) and sharing the gospel of salvation.

Know that’s not right

Jesus said the prince of this world cometh and will be cast out. see Rv12

Jesus inadvertently spoke and an antichrist 3 times

John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive menot: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for theprince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall theprince of this world be cast out.

And Paul did mention an antichrist the son of perdition

2 Thessalonians 2 3 Letno man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there comea falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is calledGod, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God,shewing himself that he is God.

And john did mention an antichrist shall come.

1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that JesusChrist is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit ofantichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already isit in the world.

Yes there are lots of antichrists and there is ten antichrist kings in the end andshall give their power and strength unto the beast, and out of the ten shall come another in the Ancient of days that shall make warwith the saints

Daniel 7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there cameup among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the firsthorns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like theeyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

Rv17:12And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour withthe beast.

13These have one mind, and shall give their power andstrength unto the beast.

Just because there is no word antichrist in Revelation and Danieland Paul or Jesus did not youse the word antichrist doesn’t mean there’s no antichristin there or it was not mentioned by them

We have to be careful not to strain at a gnat and swallow acamel.

It’s funny what some Christians think is unbiblicaland nonfactual gobbledygook.

the prince of this world is not the same as the antichrists...neither is the son of perdition...

terms are important...and we shouldn't equivocate these very different terms...they have distinct definitions and it is a mistake to just lump them all together as if they were describing the same 'bad guy' figure for no other reason than because they all describe a 'bad guy'

i know this is a radical new idea...this idea that we shouldn't read things into the bible that it doesn't actually say...but eschatology makes a lot more sense when you try it...

So many Christians refuse to believe that the 1%, the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderbergs, the Illuminati, the Freemasons, church organizations, or any other group that is working together to bring The New World Order has anything to do with setting the stage for the coming of the Antichrist. If they are not, then who is?
My question to you is, if you had all authority to set the stage for the Antichrist himself, how would you do it? What would you do to bring all government, military, and religious leaders together into agreement to hand the Antichrist all power? Any outlandish ideas are welcomed. All I ask is that no one post any jokes about it, because it's not a laughing matter.
It only took one person to derail the entire thread. And I'm not surprised, because it's not the first time I've seen that person do it. The very tactic that was stated in their post is exactly what they did to this thread.
Mark 4:9 [SUP]9 [/SUP]And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

These groups not only exist, but they monitor everything. So again, I'm not surprised. Now, back to the thread.

To Stephen63 or anyone interested.

I am interested in talking and learning, from the scriptures about the Antichrist. I know that there is a conspiracy between God and those that love Him. And the one on the other side causing troubles in the world is Satan. That much we can read from scripture & more. Those that are familiar with Revelation and scripture about end times are growing smaller every year. And it is difficult to find some one that will closely look at the scriptures in the Hebrew & Greek as to be able to get a clearer picture. They are a dieing breed .And This is to the advantage of Satan. As the scriptures say in Amos 8:11 The famine in the end times is not for bread or water; but for hearing the Word's of God. I'm always searching for some one to reason these things out from scripture. And is able to document what they say from scripture and the languages it was written in.

You might try The Antichrist by Arthur W. Pink. It's pretty good
