Saw film about an exorcism and the soul posessed looked kinda normal.
Also behaved kindof "normal".

Infact the one the priest try to make leave the body was educated, clever and played psychology games and laughed all the time.
It did not fear jesus or Mary or anyone or anything priest was doing and the priest ahd to work so incredibly hard to get it to leave.


The soul whom owned the body so wanted it to leave.
At the end the priest managed with help get it leave.
Someone may of died in process.


Thing is , it was so "normal" but could be felt inside by the one whos body it was who felt so violated by this ugly being laughing at it and being awful.
The one whos body it was tried hitting self to make it leave but it did not leave.

Such a violation.
and it like tied the meat of the body up.
All these really ugly beings were in the body.
Enemies, laughing and being awful.
and how awful your body filled with them instead of your beautiful spirit and soul you have these horrid beings take over your body.

How would one even get help with exorcism like that.....
These were tricking everyone at first.
Being false and manipulative and so smart and seemed only one understand was priest, eventually.

How awful for one whoms body it is.
Lucky that soul found priest to help drive them out and who beleived it.

Was not like exorcism movie with spinning heads but was so educated, manipulative, psychological and pretend be nice and always laughing and they tied bodies meat up in restraint but from inside so spirit and energy in body could not move.
Like the soul trapped with these horrid beings.


Going to priest saying "please remove these beings from my body" when one looks normal........
One may have to know ones priest well b4 one dares such a thing as ask for help.


What can one do to remove them.

Its written Jesus removed demons and unwelcome beings from peoples bodies as well as heal them.
Apart from pray they be removed and kept away from you and body for ever what else could one do.

Seems ask priest for exorcism is only done if headspins or gory green snot runs all over face.

But what if you want exorcism and its psychological and violating and more clever than that and less visible..

Worst beauty therapy , be posessed by such awful beings one wants nothing to do with and whom violate body despite not welcome.
Feels ugly have your enemies in your body, posessing your body from both sides.
Stealing your beauty, light, energy and violating you.

May not look ugly but feels ugly.
They feel wonderful and you feel awful.


Does it say what to do anywhere?

Pray but what else?

Muslims say eat date and pray to keep blackmagic and keep horrid ones possess you away.

What when prays dont help....

Things can look normal, and can change quickly during and leading up to an exorcism. A person who has faith in His relationship with Christ can drive any kind of demon out. Some of the problems include immaturity of faith, or that the person does not want the demon out, or does not know how to want the demon out. There is no relationship between being a priest, and having the maturity of faith. Because we are so complex as humans, the path to maturity takes many forms. That's why you see so many kinds of "phenomena" in the movies. These phenomena are the result of people's specific types of immaturity in their faith. There are too many details for a general post; some are in books, much needs to be learned by experience, and in prayer.

The movies are a hodgepodge of different things that people say have happened; some true, some not. The people who write the movies are not trying to be accurate, they are trying to be entertaining.

Are you facing a specific situation?

Of course using Mary would have no power over a demon. Mary has no power, she is just another human, like the rest of us. Sure, she was picked to birth Christ, but that gives neither her, nor her name, any special powers.

Also, was this a movie, or a documentary? Most documentaries about exorcisms are Catholic based, and based in Catholic rituals, of which Jesus never used to cast out demons.

I have heard much has been learned during exorcisms and that St. Joseph and the blessed virgin Mary have more power over demons that any other soldier in the kingdom of heaven.

Never saw Jesus cast out demons in the name of mary or joseph. Don't see how casting out demons in the name of mere mortals could be effective. I thought it was Jesus name there was power, not created humans.

It is only because of what Jesus did on the cross when He did a COMPLETED work of victory over Satan and his demonic forces. There is NO OTHER name that should be used.

For those who believe using the name of the blessed virgin Mary or St Joseph takes away from Jesus, it is like saying we take away heat from fire or wet from water. We clearly become one with God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is only trough them that this saints have power, it is not a power from their own. God used angels to talk to us, why can't God use saints to fight evil?

When the angel talked to the blessed virgin Mary, did the angel take away from God? When the prophets talked did they take away from God? If God can work trough us how much more can God work trough those in Heaven? If you say that Jesus earthly parents are not in heaven what chance do I have.

Well all i can say is in all the deliverance I have done over the years God has NEVER told me to do it another persons name and its Him I listen to in these matters.

Do you mean you do exorcisms? That is a dangerous field.

Since when do we learn from demons?

How do dead saints cast demons out?

3) "Exorcism"
Exorcism is a catholic term for the ceremony of when a demon is attempted to be cast out. Catholics reserve this for certain priests only. How sad is that? The disciples were concerned when they spotted someone else casting out demons in Jesus name. Jesus responded with "Don't stop him!... Who is not against us is for us" ( Mark 9:39). How sad it is that the catholic church ignores this passage! The Catholic church even forbids many priests from casting out a demon. This is a symptom of how far the catholic church is out of order.


I was in need of deliverance and my first stop was the catholic church. I am thankful for the wise priest I spoke with. He helped me get on the right track. I am also thankful no catholic priest attempted to do an exorcism on me. I ended up in a deliverance ministry who helped me a great deal. Then God led me to another person who did more for me than all the rest combined.

Deliverance is a process by which we get free of the influence of the enemy, gain our freedom in Christ and get closer to God. It is a never ending process because we all sin and fall short. One must keep his/her Sword of the Spirit sharp and Godly armor in good working order on a daily basis.

The amazing thing about going thru deliverance is that one learns how to detect and cast out demons. It is a simple process to cast them out, especially if the Holy Spirit reveals to legal rights. I have even witnessed physical healings after a demon was cast out. How terribly sad it is that the Catholic church is so far out of touch on this matter.

Keep in mind it is not my business to bash Catholics, but you brought up this topic. This is one topic I care a great deal about. I respect some of the things Catholics do but abhor the rest of their false teachings.

What we learn from exorcisms? easy, what works. If you believe that to cast out a demon you just say I command you in the name of Jesus and boom the evil is gone, then I do not believe the same as you.

Every priest and lay man can do exorcism, some are more prepared than others. If you were baptized in the catholic church then the priest has done an exorcism in you.

Much false information goes around trough anti-catholic agenda, and sometimes it makes us believe falsely on what the church actually teaches. Just make sure you know the true teaching and position of the catholic church and not the teachings of an anti-catholic doctrine.

Well, apparently you don't understand what the Catholic Church teaches about exorcisms. Here is an exerpt from THE ROMAN RITUAL Translated by PHILIP T. WELLER, S.T.D.

"Solemn exorcisms, according to the Canon law of the church, can be exercised only by an ordained priest (or higher prelate), with the express permission of the local bishop, and only after a careful medical examination to exclude the possibility of mental illness"

Also, putting some salt on the tongue of a baby and then dipping them in baptismal waters, will not drive out a demon, in general. Demon possession (or whatever term you prefer) is a sin related condition. That is the sins of the individual, sins of his or her ancestors and sins done to them. Demanding a demon to leave, over and over will only cause the demon to laugh at your stupidity. Deal with the sin issue (demonic stronghold) and then command them to leave in Jesus name, is the only effective way to administer deliverance. Doing it the proper way, via the Holy Spirit, is not playing with fire or dangerous, nor is it difficult and the results are certain.

I do not study from any anti catholic sites. I have formed my opinions on the Catholic Church based on what Catholics do and what the bible says.

There is no agreement, because there is no agreement on exactly what "possession" is. Different traditions allow the word for any form of temptation that won't go away, others restrict it only to loss of personality, or anything in-between. Also, it does not matter, since the method of exorcism is the same for each, and there are very few Christians who care enough about the discrepancies to want to invest the time studying Satan and his wiles so specifically to settle the thus irrelevant issue. Witchcraft scholars, likewise, have no interest in studying the issue, since they care only about getting the demons to do what they want.

If you are bothered by a demon, get a brother/sister to pray with you as in James 5. Healing follows, and the theologians can figure out the verbiage later, if any care to.

The rite of exorcism, following the protocol and prayers prescribed by the Catholic church is a "solemn exorcism". An exorcism is included it Baptism, but the prayer is much shorter, and lacks the preparatory protocol. The Catholic Church made this distinction early in the Charismatic Renewal, in order to not stand in the way of lay exorcisms pronounced routinely at prayer meetings, and the unsanctioned but accepted, deliverances performed by lay teams. Those two were thus both deemed "exorcisms" or "deliverances", drawing extra attention to the need of a specific name for the "solemn exorcism".

I do not know if any other denomination has such a division of terms, but Episcopal and Orthodox are likely candidates.
