i work in a christian bookstore full time plus teaching voice and piano on my days off. good times. i need a vacation.
 
I am a full-time actress for a theatre company. When I am not on-stage, I am either directing productions, or Musical directing for productions, or making costumes, or like now, doing 3 of the 4 of these. I also need a vacation Meggars! 13 hour days bite!
 
I work as a mechanical engineer for a railroad company, although half considering the option of working for the railroad AS a locomotive engineer.
 
I work for an international fast food company handling day to day customer relations.

Haha....i bet if we switched briefly it would FEEL like a vacation just because its different.

Same as everyone else I suppose, wrapped in plastic and butcher's paper.

But seriously, I'm a primary (elementary) school teacher.

Ok, I guess its time for me to fess up, not that anyone's going to read this or anything.

I worked for many years as a graphic artist in the sign industry. I got burnt out on that because in my job I was always trying to juggle a bunch of projects simultaneously while supervising production on all of them and making sure that all the deadlines were met too. The people I had to work with were very unorganized and that made my job even harder. So, I secretly always wanted to work in the medical field so one year I decided I would change careers (with some encouragement from GOD) and I went back to school to be a pharmacy technician. I've since graduated (with a 3.89 GPA) and have gotten my national certification with a 94% test score and am looking to land my first tech job. So far its been difficult because my only experience is my internship and most places are looking for at least 2 years on the job. I'm still hopeful though.

I will pray,Zero, that God helps you find a job. I commend you for pursing your dream and achieving it. The final step will happen.

Isn't that frustrating? The jobs require experience but how are you supposed to get experience if nobody will hire you because you don't have experience?

That's great that you went after your dream. I still have at least a year or two, possibly more, before I can do what I "really want". It's hard to wait, but God has a purpose and a plan. :)
 
I'm currently an Elementary Special Education Teacher :) It is such a blessing and so much fun to be working with kids; I learn so much from them. I can't wait to see what the Lord has for me next :)
