Praying my dad will understand

Would like to recieve prayer in regards to breaking the news to my dad that my mom and i will be traveling to the philippines without him. I dont want him to be crushed for staying behind, but its a trip that my mom and i need to take alone. I know it will hurt my dad while we are gone for 2 weeks, but i would like prayer that he would find peace in our discision on going without him. I have a gut feeling he will be angry and feel left out, but thats not our intent. Please pray for his heart during this time of news.
 
Ninja7,I pray that you and your mother will talk this over with the Lord first. I'm afraid you're going to open the door to a lot of hurt. If you got a gut feeling it's going to hurt your dad then that's the Holy Spirit trying to tell you something.I pray that you will make the right choice. If you seek the Lord will, then you will make the right choice.

Lord I pray and ask that you give his father complete peace and a excitement to have the place all to himself instead of being hurt, I pray and ask on Jesus name amen.

Ricky...Thank you for your response. We've prayed long and hard about the decision to go without my dad. My dad cannot enter this country freely. That is why we have to take this trip alone. I will continue to pray that he'll understand on the reasons.

I agree. We don't know the circumstances, but if your mother and you have not sought God's will and have no peace about it, I would caution you to not go.
