Did Adam and Eve have a belly button?
The belly button is just the scar tissue from the umbilical cord. It's the way a mother gets nutrients to a child in her womb , needed for the child to mature.
Adam & Eve would have one if, they were in a womb . But the Bible does not say that. The question you want to ask is
How was Adam and Eve created.
Adam:
Gen2: 7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Adam was formed from the ground. We can assume there was no umbilical corded needed in that. So we can assume he didn't have one.
Eve:
Gen2: 21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22 And the
rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
This did not say she was born from Adam but that she was taken from him. The rib; specifically is mentioned. I would assume there was no need of an umbilical cord here either.
But this word rib is interesting ,from the Hebrew it was taken:
tsay-law': or (feminine) tsalTah {tsal-aw'}; from 'tsala`' (6760); a rib
(as curved), literally (of the body)...
It means: Curve. One part of the body that is curved, that may be used to create the feminine; Might be hinting at the double Helix Curve in DNA?
If Eve was formed that way. I'm not sure how God would have done it. And I would assume again, that there would be no umbilical cord involved... Conclusions they might have been without belly buttons. : /
