At THIS time, while Jesus was here in earth born of Mary, God the Father was the ONLY God for Jesus was no longer a God, but a flesh and blood man!

When Jesus returned to be at the right hand of The Father He again was a God!

We are given the terms God the Father and God the Son only so that we will know which is which. Both are God's. Both are eternal. But only ONE became as us; a flesh and blood man!

Muslims think that the Holy Spirit is an angel...are you Muslim?

The Holy Spirit is God.

There is only one place in ALL of God's word that tells us just how The Father, the Son, The Holy Spirit and even those that bring the same message are all one. It can be found in John 17.

The Trinity is proclaimed all through scripture.

Now since we are ONLY to receive our doctrine from the bible....however it states that The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit are one is the only doctrine we can profess and believe in.

A God was seen by man. They may not have been able to see His face....but they were able to make out that He had hands and feet. And we know that this God was not the one that we know as God the Father because Jesus told us no one has ever seen Him. So which God is this that was seen by the elders? Jesus Christ! The God that made everything that was made. The one that was with them in the wilderness!

74 elders saw him, they saw Christ
Buit, the Father is the one true God

We may have to differ on ex 33, but to me this is more important

(Equality). as for the 2nd, Jesus Christ, when manifested into flesh, was made (only for the time of his life) a little while, lower than the angels, like us, now, Jesus Christ is God the One True God because He is a door or gateway if you will, to the Father, when we look at Jesus we see the Father, did you see his flesh act up once in him? (None). So in other words they are 3 in 1 and we need every one if we want to enter into heaven. Father Son + Holy Ghost = 1

And let's confirm this;

St. John 5
22. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son;
26. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given unto the Son to have life in himself. And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

So the God that will judge man is the one that is known as God the Son. And we read that this judge is also called, "...But the LORD is the true God..."

Christ did not correct Thomas, but only three chapters earlier had stated

Now let's read what Jesus said.....

St. John 1: 18 – No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared him.

St. John 5: 37 – And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

St. John 6: 46 – Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

So which is it......did the Holy Spirit lie to the prophets when they wrote the OT? Did Moses lie when he said that God was seen by the elders? Or was it Jesus who lied when He said no man has seen God?

[SUP]27[/SUP]For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

1Cor15:24-28

The Father has put everything in Heaven and on earth under the sons feet
Christ reigns now and is OVER ALL
Paul confirms again:

Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

Rom9:5

Christ reigtns over all, God blesseed forever, or to put it aniother way, Blessed of God forever

All roads lead to Rome as it were

The Father is THE ONE TRUE GOD

Even though it was the angel of the Lord that gave Balaam the words to say, Balaam said it was God that put the words in his mouth. Let’s read another;

Judg.2
[1] And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.

Again, the angel, a 'Holy Spirit' is talking as though he was the one that made the covenant, though we know it was really the Lord, but the angel still spoke as if it were he that made the agreement with the nation of Israel. Why? Because it was the angel of the Lord, a "Holy Spirit", that God sent to watch over the nation of Israel. God gave him the authority to speak as though it were Him.

When reading God's word you will find many places where the angel of the Lord, God’s ’holy spirit’, speaks and works as though he is the Lord. You will find throughout the scriptures many times when the Lord gives His "Holy Spirits" the same power and authority as Himself.
