here is what i don't get: why are christians so against abortion when an aborted child, according to your beliefs, will go straight to heaven. but if that child is born/raised in this world then there is a chance it will go to hell. so...do you really care about the child or not?
cuz allowing it to be born risks it suffering for eternity in hell whil abortion sends it straight to heaven...so what exactly is the problem with abortion?? lol just cuz it defies "gods will"?
well i would hope that the eternal well being of the child would be higher on your priority list than "gods will"
i'm not saying everyone should get abortions, i'm just saying i don't see why christians have such a problem with it if they really care so much about the child like they claim to...
This was your first post in this thread and it clearly wasn't a direct respons to any of the other posts. It wasn't even an answer to the question we're trying to discuss here. It seems to me you tried to make a parody of what christians believe about human life. We believe it to be sacred, and from that belief comes responsibility, namely to protect the unborn child and to love it as a beloved child of God when it's born. So don't say we don't 'care.' On the contrary, in principle we care even more BECAUSE we see all human life as sacred. For a none believer a fetus could just be another unfortunate accident...
You apologize because I, and probably some other people here, got annoyed because you are trying to hijack and derail this thread? Instead maybe you should apologize because you hurt and offended a lot of people, doubting their ability and willingness as christians to really care for the unborn child and children in general.
ok what are you going to do with all your whiny tyrants?

I became a part of this discussion the moment I started reading it. I'm even more a part of it than you know, since this subject is close to my heart. I'm not trying to 'unwind' here though, but I AM speaking from personal experience. No offense, but I don't see what's your problem with me posting here.
