If as in the bible a living child reaches an age of accountability, where they understand right from wrong, and wrong is a sin, they understand to ask for forgiveness and repent of it. I dont believe any aborted baby has gone to hell or ever will go to hell.
Deuteronomy 1:39 - Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.

According to who? Who said they're innocent?
They are born into sin. since we are discussing abortion, they haven't been born yet...

Altho i don't think they should be considered "sinful" until they are old enough to understand things better.

Wait last night you put your creation in hell. Why is it different now? didnt they make it that way, and you had no choice?
i did not put them in hell. i made them so they can be perfectly happy on their own and not need to rely on me.

does that sound like hell? cuz if it is then hell is not a "bad" place...

Scripture is pretty clear on the matter. Do you accept the authority of Scripture?

No where in scripture does it say that all dead babies are jettisoned into heaven. It doesn't speak much on the issue, and we shouldn't speculate and presume to speak for God.
I guess I miss the point of why the entire bible discussion forum even exists then. If my speculation is unwelcome, then by all means, I won't here.

I have told you about God's magnanimous offer of salvation.

If you are not 100% certain that the God of the bible does not exist, there is a chance that you could be wrong.

Eternity is a very, very, very, very, very, long time.

The evidences for the God of the bible are significant. The evidences for your god are...????

Jesus Christ said that he had the authority to forgive sins.

Our experience here on the earth is as close to hell as believers in Christ will ever know. It is as close to heaven as arrogant and prideful unbelievers will ever know.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is an interesting series but you wouldn't want to derive your worldview from it. I found the Rebuild of the series (so far) has cut out much of the angst and fan service. :)

You make the same error that most of humanity makes.

They think that because they believe something, that it becomes reality.

You can say that you have no belief in gravity, but if you jump off of a ten story building, you will die anyway.

Your lack of belief in God will not save you when you die.

Last words:

"All my possessions for one moment of time." .... Elizabeth the First

"Too bad, too bad! It's too late!" ....Ludwig van Beethoven

"I would gladly give 30,000 Lira to have it proved to my satisfaction that there is no such place as hell."

like you know anything about the Bible.
k.
I've heard christians say that about the bible...

were they lying about their own bible? I would hope not.

so that's why i said that. i don't have to read the whole bible to learn about it. (i have read some)

Observing what others say works too.

I actually have taken a lot of my "worldview" from certain movies, games, anime, music, manga, books, etc.

I blend aspects of all different things together to develop my own theory.

but yea, i've heard good things about it. it's on my "to watch" list :D

i do believe in a god. still questioning the nature of god.

if he is of an evil nature then there is no hope anyway...

Jools, if you read Deuteronomy 1:39 in context, you would find it's about entering the land of Canaan, promised to them by God, not about babies going to Heaven. Context is key.

Dark, maybe try the Rebuild of the series. That is, unless you enjoy a protagonist that never stops crying or screaming.

Missed one: Psalm 51:5
Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Altho i don't think they should be considered "sinful" until they are old enough to understand things better.
So be it. Yet again, it matters not what we prefer, but rather, what is true.

Quite the contrary. I once thought the same thing. "I'm not religious, I'm such a free thinking open minded person." I was more enslaved than I could ever imagine. The same is true for you.

The purpose of hte Bible Discussion Forum and the current status are two different things. There is indeed a lot of speculation and presumed speaking for God where God has not spoken.
