President Obama is signaling that he is going to give 11 million illegal aliens "free" U.S. citizenship through executive order after the House plan to do so fails due to fierce resistance by the American people as is being predicted by most political analysts currently.
Am I the only one amazed at how Obama is exercising almost Monarchical power via executive order to get what he wants whether or not the American people, whose will is expressed in the Congress and Senate, like it or not.
And, make no mistake, what Democrats and the mainstream modern liberal media celebrate is going to come back to bite them and here's why.
Most Democrats are either government workers (e.g. 22 million) or receiving money from the government in some manner (welfare programs, entitlement programs, etc...).
Just federal and state welfare program costs alone (not counting entitlement programs like Social Security or Medicare nor Veteran's programs) grew from $563 billion in 2008 to over $1.03 trillion dollars a year currently and that is fully documented in nonpartisan Congressional Research Service reports available online.
And, the U.S. deficit is almost at a trillion dollars for 2013 while the U.S. national debt is over $16.5 trillion.
What do these Democrat government workers, social security/medicare recipients, public aid recipients, etc... think is going to happen when 11 million poor illegal immigrants are given "free" U.S. citizenship and can immediately sign up for welfare and social services while joining existing entitlement programs and initiating chain migration to bring up to another 40 million of their family in to join them on welfare, social services, and entitlement programs in the worst U.S. job market since the Great Depression?
Do Democrats realize that two-thirds of all U.S. new job growth currently bypasses U.S. citizens and goes directly to mostly legal foreign immigrants yet is so low paying that most of these simultaneously qualify, to varying degrees, for government programs?
I hope Democrats aren't putting any stock in the U2 unemployment rate the mainstream media bandies around because it's near meaningless for describing the actual unemployment, underemployment, and underpaid draconian situation that exists right now in the U.S..
Even with massive tax increases, more massive borrowing, and resorting to printing money out of thin air, where is the U.S. going to get THAT much money? Are existing Democrats on public aid ready to see dramatic decreases in the amount they receive. Are government workers ready to see dramatic decreases in both their numbers, tenure, and the compensation they currently receive?
For that's what is going to happen if Obama issues executive orders to that effect and they are permitted to stand. Democrats are living on a pink cloud and it's going to fade as reality progressively sets in if what they are doing is permitted to stand. How can we save Democrats from themselves?
