All im seeing in church now from a male perspective is a bunch of women with democratic views mixed with christianity ...rebellious, wanting headship, career or work orientated...selfesh and with someone elses children, wanting to date or get married...but yet are busy, busy, busy....what happened to the proverbs 31 woman instead of these headstrong brash dominate "Christian" females...????

Those are not Christian women; just because they go to church and speak " tongues" which isn't speaking tongues at all because you need the Holy Spirit to do that, and the Holy Spirit does not dwell in bodies that commit adultery physically and spiritually.

Your life with these women is a good example of how un - influential the churches really are. They don't even teach the people how to cherish and love each other according to the holy word. Just a bunch of dried up false prophets really.

Anyway, the bible says in Corinithians that it's better to not marry anyway - your better off just taking care of your children and making peace with their mother.

Live your life according to Father's will, and always always always - keep your eyes set on heaven.

It's terrible that you have gone through 3 disastrous relationships. I know someone close who was married and his
wife had a long term affair with the pastor of the church and eventually she left my friend and went off with the pastor.
After sometime, he met another christian in a different church cause he moved church and sad to say, history repeated
itself.

The biggest problem whether it be men or women is the lack of an intimate relationship with the Lord.
Playing church does not bring us closer to the Lord.
If we have a close relationship with the Lord, spending time with Him and reading His word, the Holy
Spirit who dwells within our hearts will convict our lives of wrong and bring the word of God into our hearts
and minds so that we can be renewed according to His word and not according to the principles of this world.

When we live in this world and if we get caught up with the world, naturally our tendencies will be to fulfil the desires of
the flesh according to worldly principles. Thats why, it's so important to have a very close relationship with the Lord so that we don't fall into temptation.

I love proverbs 31. God has assigned tasks to men and to women. Each have their own obligations and duties to fullful.
It's a pity that people look at the duties/task which God has ordered as eg: demeaning if a woman has to submit to her
husband. For me, I submit to my husband and many times not because I want to but because I love God and it's my obligation
to God to obey His word, as His word says "If you love me, obey my commmands".
By submitting, it does not make me a lesser person, though people may disagree.
The problem is people read the word and then instead of accepting it for what it says and do it, they rationalize it with
today's modern generation way of thinking and that is not right.

May God come and rescue His church.

How many directions can I go with this? If a Christian man cannot pick a Christian wife out of three tries, he should've never had one to begin with, because he's not ready for marriage. If you lack spiritual discernment, you shouldn't be seeking a wife. I have to agree with Nautilus (imagine that, lol). I don't see you any different then I see the three ex-wives. Your sin is just as great as theirs. Asking the sisters to give you a break is an insult to their gender. Not all of them are like that. You're just good at picking out the bad ones. I believe once you deal with your own sin, you may see things a little bit different.

I'm just saying that we shouldn't be playing the blame game. I am certain that he, along with each one of these women, contributed to the failure of these marriages. I don't think we should pin it on any one person.

There is a sort of feminism that the bible teaches. I have seen marriages ruinned, even if they stay together, by the idea that God teaches men they are supreme, and little wife better obey. That attitude is not the one God teaches when He made men the leaders. Both have an equally important role to play in our world.

Have you heard the idea that God sees every tear that is shed? You may not make your spouse cry.

It must be terrible to endure all this, and not be bitter. I hope you have a strong caring Christian you can go to to help you talk it out. My prayers are with you.

Please remember that we are to grow as we face our trials, you can use this terrible trial for a closer walk with your Lord.

There is nothing remotely like feminism taught in the bible. Calling out feminism as bad doesn't mean that women should be treated like slaves or abused or that their life should not be valued. It doesn't mean you should not treat your wife well. This is a good example of what I mean about feminism being drilled into American minds. The idea that anything that opposes feminism automatically means misogyny, slavery, and abuse of women. It's simply not true.

It really wasn't a reference to the guys particular situation, the thread title asked if Christian men and women are really any different (I'm assuming he meant from non-Christians). Just saying, in a society that's been so negatively impacted by feminism.....you have to be selective when choosing. I never said it was the fault of the women or the guy. I don't know the situation and I wasn't involved so it's not my job to place blame on anyone really.

what ever we have had happened in our lives bad or good is a product of what we have let pass. God never intended for you to be divorced my brother. i am sorry that you had to go through that, but i believe and this is what i do, before i say this and about a person, i look at me first you know. how long and how much i sought GOD on the matter, How my relationship with GOD is, How much i Love GOD, you know those very serious personal questions and at times we dont see ourselves THAT clearly, thats why the psalmist asked GOD to search HIM. and HE did, and GOD loved Him for that.

Those women might have already repented for their sins, see GOD with the eyes that HE WANTS YOU TO SEE.

am reminded that, sometimes we dont listen to GOD you know, we tend to do things the way we think is true, or is right. see the scriptures are TRUE and a lot, but GOD quickens a scripture that applies to your life, meaning not every knowledge is what you are to have faith on. seek GOD for what HE WANTS FOR YOU.

Finally forgiveness is key here, forgive those women, and never generalize them. i know some GOD loving women, and yes we are human and its no EXCUSE but its not time to blame, but time to seek Healing, time to seek LOVE. ai. Do not be trapped into this really. Never helps really.

Now the point is these are the last days and marriages 30,40 years old are ending...ministers an pastors in 25 year marriages and ministries together are ending...Yashua spoke about tares and wheats that can't be decerned immediately...so for me to believe these women and trust their vows doesn't necessarily say it's me...also there are arranged marriages, forced marriages (because of pregnancy etc) that last because of ones integrity....in other words....we make choices every day... I'm by no means saying I'm perfect but if I see some one who knows the word and seeks the lord and they ask for my trust...I'll give them my trust...

All three pretended to be God-loving, marriage-revering Christians, and all three also pretended something else.

It saddens me (as it saddened Paul) that there is division in the church over something as simple as tongues Not all ecstatic utterances are spiritual. At sports games, you will hear utterances that defy the rules of grammar that are neither Satanic nor inspired by the Holy Spirit - they are natural. It is really a very simple thing. Those who understand the context can give the interpretation of most utterances (i.e. he was saying that they could have got the first down if the quarterback had run instead of throwing the pass - all expressed without the rules of grammar). Use what you know is true in the natural to understand the spiritual. Tongues do not proceed from emotion nor from logic, but they do exist and will exist as long as there are rules of grammar to ignore.

I see what your saying sister, I just disagree about labeling it feminism. Loving cooperation between Man and Woman is a Godly thing and I don't think feminism ever promotes that. Men should always be compassionate towards women and I think misogyny is just as bad as feminism personally.....all either of them do is drive a wedge between people and does not promote loving kindness.

I have to agree with you. There are two sides to this. We are jumpimg to conclusions with only one side of the story.

My first question is. Did you go through Christian marriage counceling with any of these women "BEFORE " you got married.

Would you mind providing some examples of feminism breaking up the family unit and disrupting the natural order of things, and whatever else you mentioned? I'm not arguing I just want to see something backing up these claims.
