I get annoyed when I look back later and realize that I made grammar mistakes and it's too late to edit it. Yes, I am one of "those" people.
I also get a bit embarrassed when I thought that what I said made sense and then I go back later and read it and wonder how anyone could have comprehended it. Much like this sentence. Well, not THAT sentence. The one before.
Then there are times like the above where I think that I'm not making sense so I over-explain when really it could have been understood in the first place. *Sigh*
3. The times when my sarcasm faucet was open a little too far.
For me, it is always word order. I'm not really a linear thinker, so I have the essence of the sentence if you will already dancing in my head before it spills out on to paper or, in this case, electronic text.
The trouble is the little things get me. Not spelling, but usually word order.
There are also some embarrassing occasions in which I think of two or three sentences at once and type a combination deal down.
No shame in that.![]()
When I mistakenly wear my heart on my sleeve around callous people.
When I don't know how to help someone through a hard emotional time, even though I really, really want to.
Oh and I talk waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much about myself. Need to turn that faucet off sometimes.
