Can Someone Explain Rev. 12:1-6 to Me?

And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.” [SUP]10 [/SUP]So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” [SUP]11 [/SUP]And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind


The son and the moon would be Jacob and Rebecca, The 12 stars would be the twelve sons. These represent Isreal. who birthed christ to fulfill part of the abrahamic covenant.

The child would represent Christ. Who was taken up to heaven. The dragon would be satan, Who tried his hardest once the child was born to take him out (remember Joseph and Mary had to go to Egypt as the king ordered the death of every male child under 2. Which was surely satans doing) and satan continued to try to take him out up to the cross. which he even in the first son of perdition, had a hand in.

The child being snatched up (or raptured) is Christ when he ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of God

The woman fleeing to the wilderness is spoken of in chapter 13. when the dragon goes after the woman but she is protected by God. thus he goes after her offspring. Her offspring would be the church.

Was there 12 Apostles just because it was a cool and fav number?

Yes, I'm totally going to take advice from a creepy Astro Boy doll who tells me to read the Bible.
But seriously, while the Bible is the most worthwhile book and should be the one we read most regularly, that doesn't mean all other books are bad, that we can't learn from them, or gasp! even enjoy them.

Not all books are bad, just the ones that can lead you astray like “Islam in the End Times” and “the man of sin” and other creepy books like that
