On a sierras note.

The woman is the church that flees into the wilderness for the last 1260 days or 3 ½ years.

and the remnant of her seed is the rest of the church that doesn’t flee into the wilderness, and goes through the great tribulation and loves not their lives unto there death.

The woman and the remnant of her seed are one, because there is only one body the church.

One baptism, one body, one spiritual drink.

Question - Is the Bible the only book you read?

And yes, that Astro Boy doll is super-creepy. Just an observation, not a judgment call.

I didn't say Astro Boy was evil, just that he's creepy. It's more the size of the image than anything and the fact that his anime eyes are huge.
Yes, drinking from the same orange bottle as your dog probably isn't wise but it's an old advert for orange juice, what can you do? :p

Is there any reason that you only read the Bible?

The reason I only read the bible is because His words are spirit and life and its food for my sole.

And it says And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many, so I am just trying to protect myself as best I can.

For false prophets don’t come in by reading the bible but through reading man’s books.

I also should say hello tintin, I think this is the first time we have chatted, So greetings.

Hi Peter, good to meet you too.
It's great to be discerning but unfortunately, because people are inherently sinful, even the Bible can be used for evil purposes. A quick look at the news will show this to be true.

Yep i think that to be right

Just trying to do my best to keep me feet on the narrow path and avoid the pitfalls.

I look at the churches and sadly I see a mess, and they are mostly avid book readers, so I can’t help but put the blame on that, and if you ask most Christians today they have never read to whole bible just bits of it. So I like to put the emphases on reading the bible.

I don’t think that reading books is a sin, but it’s a sinful situation the church is in I think because of books and a lack of direction into reading the bible where are food is and were the spirit of life is.

Jesus is the word and most Christians don’t even know the word:(

“Islam in the End Times” NOT worth the read, it will just lead you astray.
Thank you, peterT !!!!! Having YOU speak against the book is probably the best advertising it could possibly get on this forum and the publisher didn't have to pay for the ad. <big grin>

Yes, I'm totally going to take advice from a creepy Astro Boy doll who tells me to read the Bible.
But seriously, while the Bible is the most worthwhile book and should be the one we read most regularly, that doesn't mean all other books in print are bad, that we can't learn from them, or gasp! even enjoy them.
I agree, and if you enjoy books about Bible truth, I promise you would enjoy any of my books. What's more, all Fish House Publishing books in print are free downloads from their sites.

All of the demographic statistics and indicators support your theory therapon. All of them. Not only is Islam expanding around the globe but it's simultaneously morphing into a much more virulent fundamentalist false religious system based primarily on the modern society defined as Jahiliyyah and the "need" for a vanguard to re-Islamize society. Not a good combination!

Thank you sir, and what's really frightening is that the evangelical Church is not in the fight, but remains sound asleep on the sidelines.

Peter, I think the apostasy in the church has more to do with less and less Christians regularly reading the Bible (if at all) than reading other books than the Bible. But yes, discernment is key. I'll keep reading my Bible and various other books and you just keep reading the Bible and we'll both be happy. God Bless, mate! :)

listen to them yell "nuke em" where have you been?

And what is the fight? What do you suggest they do? Sidelines? Explain what you mean please.

John 7:18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory
The books I have been led to write always brings glory to the Lord Jesus, that is their central theme.

They are either of God or of the devil, but since you read nothing but the Bible, how can you know which?

I wouldnt know if you were inspired or not. As you know you can find 5 books on the same
topic all different and all were "led" to write their books. They say.

But! if you bring Glory to the Lord and make Him the focus as who He is. Then im be cool with that.
