same as they did - REPENT of unbelief and sin and in THAT VERY SAME DAY, OBEY The Gospel AND Receive The Holy Spirit!
Amen. Repent (the mind change which necessitates a change in conduct) of unbelief (which is unfaithfulness and disobedience)
Acts 2

The Fellowship of the Believers
42And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43And awed came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

there were added that day about three thousand souls.

Amen to that. They had forsaken their rebellion and were yielded to God.

They had laid aside all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness and received with meekness the implanted word which saves the soul.

you see you have ignored how by one man's offense many died. How does Adam's one offense cause many to die?

do you understand that people still sin before Moses but it was not imputed to them because they did unknowingly?

However after God gave Moses the law and had him teach others, they no longer had the excuse and sin was imputed to them.
The law served a greater purpose to teach us of our need for God's grace as shown in Galatians 3

Galatians 3

[SUP]19 [/SUP]What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator. [SUP]20 [/SUP]Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one.

however even though sin was not imputed to them who sin, people still died between Adam and Moses because of the original sin committed by Adam, and that is what you don't seem to understand.

that Jesus Righteousness needs to be imputed to humanity to negate the sin imputed by Adam that causes people to physically die. That is the promise of physical resurrection. Romans continues in chapter 8 to talk about how we now have the firstfruits of the SPIRIT renewal but await in hope for our PHYSICAL adoption.

much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. [SUP]16 [/SUP]And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification.

Dunno. I just know that they have spread anti-reformation and anti-evangelical cult heresies here for months. Practically everything that this forum stands for they are against. They do not accept any other people here as christians and they do not accept their beliefs as christian, yet they are here spamming the same copy and paste and youtube stuff daily. It ought not be thus.

All along they have gone against this. The whole scope of these two fellas is to attack classical, protestant and evangelical christianity. Very obviously so. And its beyond me how it has been tolerated for so long.

Do you know how error and heresy gradually creeps into some churches? Tolerance and softness. "Dialogue".

i would like to think its because a small part of them missing being a part of the body of Christ that the lies that mqn has convinced them is true about so much of church history has isolated them from truly growing in CHRIST
