What you have given is the most apalling exegesis I have ever heard
But if you are right, why are you on the internet?
Even ministers of many years have not come up with your explanations.

Why are you not a minister Bowman?
You don't perform any exegesis of your own, brother.

To what are you comparing...?

Re: Wake up...

Instead of constantly worrying about others - why don't you scripturally prove YOUR position.

Yeah, right....but I have to ask....
Like I said to you earlier Bowman, lets have a level playing field
Giive me one plain verse of scripture from anywhere in the Bible that palinly states Christ is the one true God. Not your faulty exegesis
When you can do that, we'll have a discussion. I have already plainly showed you what is ACTUALLY WRITTEN
Then when you provide a verse, I'll give you another one
Hopefully if you research one of your experts they may be able to help you

Actually idolatry is worshipping something or someone AS God or as a "god".

When I worship the Son, I am honoring the Son not as God but as God's Son; when I worship God the Father I am honoring the Father, who is God -

I am a unitarian. I have God as my Father just as Jesus has God as his Father. The first and great commandment is to Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul, mind, and strength. . . That is what Jesus did and that is what I endeavor to do.

nonsense.
you shall worship the LORD Thy God ONLY.
ONE God.

Re: Wake up...

The crowds were amazed at his teaching because he taught as one who had authority and not as their teachers of the law
Matt7:29

Commonly interpreted as Jesus did not have to rely on others for his beliefs(including scholars and theologians I guess)
If you are going to continue with your heresy Mark, then I don't feel I can leave it.

What you don't seem to have grasped is that Jesus was speaking from two perspectives, one of which was as a man because man had to die for our sins and Jesus died for all our sins. When Jesus taught us to pray he was teaching us from a human perspective and God was His Father both physically and spiritually, while at other times as God he forgave sins and healed people. Jesus is both man and God.

You are focusing on his humanity and excluding his divinity.

Now the Bible tells us Jesus is God Immanuel and it is not up to us to disregard scripture or interpret it in ways to suit our own man-made theology because that is heresy.

I will remain quiet if you will, but it is wrong to bring God's word into disrepute.

I see that as an excuse. Anyway, you are wrong to believe Jesus is a created being when as God he is THE creator.

Sorry Bowman, that does not plainly state Christ is the one true God, as every Trinitarian minister who has discussed this subject with me has admitted, they freely admit
There is not one verse of scripture in the bible that plainly states Christ is the one true God. You need to rethink your view of that verse
Anyway, John told us no one has seen God at anytime, yet he lived with Christ for three years on earth

Whattttttttttttt ya say?

This One is the true God. Who?
The One we are in. Who are we in?
His son Jesus Christ. And who gave you that understanding?
the Son of God.
So you are telling me that Jesus gave us an understanding that He is the true God?

Rotflol...

Go ahead and post this SAME verse in any rendering of YOUR choice and see it says the same thing - that Jesus is the True God.

Waiting...

Go on then

Firstly remeber, John has already qiuoted Christ as saying only bthe Father is the one true God
John has also told us, no one has seen God
at anytime

We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true.(the Father) And we are in him who is true(the Father)—even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

Now don't tell me Bowman, let me guess, John contradicted himself in his books, so the above quote that certainly does not say Christ is God HIMSELF, in fact says he is

You'll have to try harder than this, can your experts not help you out?

Re: Run from it...

So, I guess next you are going to tell me that Jesus, who we know as the Lord, as the Life, as the King, as the Judge can be understood from Jer 10:10 as being the true God?

Jer 10:10 But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

I don't want your theological guesswork/exterapolations Cfultz, I want you to give me one plain verse of scripture from anywhere in the Bible that plainly states Christ is the one true God Himself
