Re: Your're stuck too...

How did Jesus teach us to pray?

That's right...
Mat 6:6 KJV - But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet (self), and when thou hast shut thy door (mouth), pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

No one has seen God at anytime 1John4:12

yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
1Cor8:6

Now this is eternal life(note what constitutes eternal life BTW): that they may know you,(THE fATHER) the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. [SUP]4
jOHN17:3
[/SUP]
Has anyone considered that The Father might just look like Christ?

No, you are not getting it

No one has seen God AT ANYTIME
Yet for us there is but one God, THE FATHER
And eternal life is knowing the Father, THE ONLY TRUE GOD and Jesus whom he sent

Yet the above comes from the bible you believe insiSts a person believes Christ to be the one true God himself to inherit eternal life

The Mind of the sCholar and theologian is your god PS, NOT THE PLAIN SCRIPTURE
That is right because we are on earth and not in heaven including Jesus for 33 years when he humbled himself and was made in the likeness of men.

Phil. 2:6-8, "...although He [Jesus] existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, [SUP]7[/SUP]but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.

Jesus was man. It was Jehovah that was humbled.

Hbr 2:9 KJV - But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Thank you for that, you know how it is when we are working quickly. :)

The place of worship is NOT how we should pray.

You forgot to show the context of the Lord's prayer below it....in which we are to ASK for FORGIVENSS.

Now...again...compare this to Jesus' prayer in John Chapter 17 - where He dictates to the Father what must be done.

See the difference?

Jesus is God.

We are not.

Simple.

You are truly lost in a world of the human intellect.

But tell me, who is the God of the one true Omnipotent God, what is his name?
What is the name of the God that the one true Omnipotent God must refer to as 'My God?

Is this a trick? I call him God.

The above is a terrible answer

When Paul stated
Yet for us there is but one God, the Father
Christ had returned to Heaven

Re: Your're stuck too...

Where is it said that Jesus is God???

Look at Acts 7
Act 7:55 KJV - But he, being full of the Holy Ghost (1), looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God (2), and Jesus (3) standing on the right hand of God (4),

Jesus is there separate from Jehovah and The Father.

The place of worship is NOT how we should pray.
pray to thy Father which is in secret;
Is this not HOW?
While we pray within our selves we are with Jehovah who tells us HOW.

If I am understanding you correctly the true God is Jesus.

So who is the God of the one true Omnipotent God?
If your belief is correct, who is this God?

So put not forward similitudes for Allâh
(as there is nothing similar to Him, nor He resembles anything)
. Truly! Allâh knows and you know not

god bless all
