Those who refuse to forsake their iniquity but rather continue to work it will be rejected at the judgement. There will be many who profess Jesus Christ at the judgement who refused to forsake their iniquity.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The warning by Jesus could not be any clearer.

Tribesman, there is a distinction between the man and the doctrine.
Not sure what you want to say with that. What is important here is that if a man teaches false doctrine and proclaims a false gospel then both what is taught and the man teaching it are under God's wrath and curse (Ps.5:5-6, Gal.1:6-9)....

...the bad part is I see how he is deceived. its because he has half the truth. God does require people to live godly lives. He does require people to repent. However we do not just have faith that God will help us live those godly lives, we must also have faith that our sins have been cleansed by JEsus Christ on the cross.
Yes. It is true that we must repent. The first thing that happens in repentance however is what the old preachers sometimes called "gospel repentance", i e repenting to the gospel from all false gospels and all own efforts and boasting, from all works- and selfrighteousness and from all vain attempts of establish one's own righteousness...this is the sure sign that regeneration and its subsequent genuine repentance have taken place. All regenerate souls believe the gospel.

If this has not taken place and the false teacher is yet teaching the need to repent from various vile sins, while himself believing a false gospel, then we have nothing but mere moralism and filthy rags. Before God these so called works of repentance are still works of iniquity since they are not done in Him. ALL THE WORKS OF THE UNRIGHTEOUS ARE UNRIGHTEOUS BEFORE GOD. None of it pleases Him. Since they are done unbelief. All unregenerate souls believes in false gospels, which are no gospels at all.

That it is His righteousness apart from the law that shields us and teaches us how to establish a proper righteousness by the law through the leading of His HOly Spirit. God's WORD, His righteousness is planted as a seed, our righteousness, godliness is a fruit of walking in His SPirit.
The only righteousness that has us in right standing before God is the righteousness of Christ, which is an alien righteousness, totally OUTSIDE of ourselves.

Oh no. It is absolutely true. We must all forsake our sin.

Unfortunately for us we can't. That's why we need Jesus.

It mostly is on God.

All we do is decide we don't want to keep following our own way and follow the Lord instead.

We find out we are not as wise as we think we are, we don't know as much as we think.

Repent and believe the Gospel. The Gospel is that the Lord Jesus died for you so that you could be free of sin and death and that you could produce fruit unto righteousness.

But the kicker is, you need His Help. All the time.
I mostly hear, blah blah blah, error error error.

A person doesn't bear fruit because they have decided they will or because they work for it. They bear fruit because they abide in Christ and He grows the fruit. Its what I've been saying all along.

Well that first paragraph was pretty good, for a change.

Your second paragraph is a bunch more blah blah blah, error error error.

We are redeemed from iniquity. We are purified by the Blood. We are restored to fellowship with God. But we are also still in this flesh and blood body. This flesh and blood body still desires things that are against the spirit. Its an ongoing fight between the flesh and the spirit.

If the Lord has redeemed us from iniquity and purified us by His Blood and restored us to Fellowship to God once, He can do it again!!

Repent and believe the Gospel. Come out from under the slavery of your works based salvation and take up His Yoke which is light and easy to bear.

The slavery to sin stops after salvation. We are never trapped in them. The Holy Spirit convicts the believer of sin and this conviction causes the believer to cry out to God if he can't stop the sin himself.

It's ok to need help. We aren't issued capes and a shirt with a big S on it when we are saved. The Lord Jesus has told us plainly that without Him we can do nothing. We are supposed to come to the Knowledge that we need His Help.

Over...

it'll be people who didn't care for His brothers.
His Pastors.
study it.
that's what He's talking about.

His pastors.

ya, you got a lot of false teachers out there and unqualified nuts pretending to be pastors.
but He NEVER knew them.

this is the 64,000$ question today.
and one ppl ought to be asking themselves.

there's a plan afoot to have people sever themselves from Grace.
Yet grace is not a license to keep on sinning. Paul was very clear about that...

Grace abounded when sin abounded but grace does not abound so you can keep on sinning.

Rom 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Rom 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

The sin does not continue it stops. For an individual who is baptised into the death of Christ dies to sin, the old man is crucified and the body of sin destroyed.

Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Thus the serving of sin ceases and in ceasing to serve sin one finds freedom.

Rom 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

It is by faith that one comes through this death and rebirth. We literally die to sin with Christ.
Rom 6:8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
Rom 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
Rom 6:10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Rom 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We don't let sin reign which means we don't submit to it anymore.

Rom 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

For we are no longer under the dominion of sin. We are under grace which is the power of God unto righteousness. Grace reigns through righteousness, it does not reign through sin as you all seem to believe. Grace may abound when sin abounds but it most certainly does not reign unto eternal life through abounding sin. That is what the Bible so PLAINLY teaches.

Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace, for grace reigns through righteousness unto eternal life (Rom 5:21).

Paul asks...

Rom 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

He says no. Why does he say no? Because whom we serve is a revelation of whom we are under the dominion of...

Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Those who have been redeemed don't serve sin but rather have submitted them to the doctrine of Christ unto righteousness.

Rom 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Paul lays it out so clearly and even repeats himself because he knows people have trouble understanding these things.

Rom 6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
Rom 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

It is a change of masters. Jesus purchased us from the dominion of Satan in order that we come under the dominion God. It is impossible to serve Satan and yet profess service to God. Such a person is a double-minded hypocrite.

Rom 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
Rom 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Eternal life through Jesus Christ has nothing to do with continuing in sin. The wages of sin is death and the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. You don't abide in Jesus Christ while continuing in sin.

"the demonic doctrine he is enslaved to will now cause him to put forth large cut in paste rhetoric about the "letter of the Law" and how you are teaching a license to sin...""

Homward... Mercy is not a cloak for iniquity.

You error is in denying this...

Isa 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

You want to believe in mercy and forgiveness being granted without having to forsake rebellion. You don't believe the Bible and you can quote mercy verses all day long but you will not find a single one which teaches that God grants an ongoing state of forgiveness for an individual who persists in rebellion. The rebellion ceases otherwise there is no forgiveness. Grace may abound but such abounding is just a demonstration of God's longsuffering for He wills none to perish but all to come to repentance.

God did not give Nineveh a reprieve because they merely confessed their sinfulness. God gave them a reprieve because they confessed their sin and stopped doing it.
.....not quite as long as the others but still, predictable and totally NOT address the points made about

Christ's Imputed Righteousness to believers.

If you want to talk about STRAWMAN. here is one of YOUR creation Skinski "The false teachers teach that there is life in simply "trusting" in a "package" and deny "manifest purity.""

for that is a lie. show me once where I've ever taught such things?

I say there is Life eternal in Trusting in the finished work of Christ and that will cause believers to manifest the purity of HIs love for the sake of OTHERS and not self, because of God's love and acceptance that was given them when they First believe in CHRIST's finished work at the Cross. not their own works, not their own righteousness, but GOD's righteousness APART from the law that enables them to walk with the Spirit and be cleansed and obtain righteousness according to the law. not for their own sakes but to show the world God's love and be living epistles for Christ.

you degrade Emmanuel on the Cross, and Rising from the Tomb to "a package" idiots are trusting in.

and then you insist you manifest purity.

i don't want what you're selling.

never mind....you got yer HITLIST! LOL.

you equate THE CHURCH helping believers OVERCOME the sins of the flesh with licentiousness.

like i said....i quit more sin than all your punk lists put together, and i did most of it IN ONE DAY.
which PROVED to me it was NOT my doing, at all.

since then, i lean on Christ.

so save your blah blah.
nobody wants it.

any born again believer knows what they are dealing with.
go find something useful to do.

DO RIGHT.

It is simple.

He who believes is not condemned,

He who does not believe is condemned already,

You have it backwards my friend.. We do not get right with God first. then he lets us in. this would be law. He makes us right with him first (born again) then HE CHANGES OUR LIVES TO MAKE US RIGHTEOUS.

why do you want to continue to do the impossible. and make yourself right with God when you CAN"T.. You think God is going to take your good deeds and say come on in?? You would be just as wrong as the pharisees.

wait...hang on.

Grace abounded?
i thought you said no way.
you did.
all along you've said no possible way God will forgive and save a sinner WHILE IN THEIR SINS.

you said NO WAY.

he Hates them.
deplores them.

but might have Mercy if they cease all known sins and purify their hearts (which MUST be according to LAW, since no one has Agape Love in their hearts UNTIL they are born again).

and that Agape Love is for the brothers.

you don't have it cuz you don't think most are your brothers...you can count one one hand the brothers you think you love. and they all (your 'brothers') hate the doctrines the ones you hate love.

what Grace abounds?

LOL.

repent skinski.

No one here is claiming it is.

Your the only one fighting for this.. which should make you thin,, why are you fighting for your right to sin? You condemn everyone elses sin, but do not even admit your own. are you trying to excuse your sin because you do not commit your "pet peave" sins?

Your trying to get to God by the law. The law condemns you, whihc means you are in serious trouble.

Stop trying to be righteous. Repent, Accept Jesus, and he WILL MAKE YOU RIGHTEOUS in a way you never deemed possible.

I guess this is part of it.

where in the Bible does it say that Jesus had to buy us from Satan's dominion?

Satan is a thief, a liar, a slave master.

Jesus came and claimed what is HIS. It was never Satan's

He is an usurper of the throne. WHy would Jesus need to pay for what is already His?

Sin having dominion over you is not the same as saying Satan has dominion over you. You are adding to the word of God.

do you understand what Paul says

"Rom 6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: "

he is speaking to babes who do not even understand the basic Gospel but are still carnal. Which means they are STILL unable to understand Spiritual things. I guess that is why those passages appeal to you so much.

I have yet to see that you truly understand the concept of GRACE.

God's children were delivered from Satan's power upon believing in the GOSPEL of Jesus remission of their sins on the Cross.

He will through His Holy Spirit make them righteous and free them from their sins by teaching them HOW to overcome and resist the lies of the devil. Their personal sins may still tempt them but they are not demons, they are not Satan. they are things that God has empowered them to overcome.

acts 26
Acts 26:17-19 (New King James Version)

[SUP]17 [/SUP]I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now[SUP][a][/SUP] send you, [SUP]18 [/SUP]to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’
The forgiveness of sins is Grace and we are sanctified by our faith in JESUS as our Lord and Savior. not our works though we will do good works.

Grace is UNMERITED favor. Grace is NOT earned but freely given.

you did.
all along you've said no possible way God will forgive and save a sinner WHILE IN THEIR SINS.

you said NO WAY.
having never known the meaning of UNCONDITIONAL love most people do not comprehend what God's Grace truly means. for them its just another word.

Romans 12
[h=3][/h][SUP]9 [/SUP]Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. [SUP]10 [/SUP]Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; [SUP]11 [/SUP]not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; [SUP]12 [/SUP]rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; [SUP]13 [/SUP]distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. [SUP]15 [/SUP]Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. [SUP]16 [/SUP]Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. [SUP]18 [/SUP]If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. [SUP]19 [/SUP]Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,”[SUP][a][/SUP] says the Lord. [SUP]20 [/SUP]Therefore
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”[SUP][b][/SUP]

[SUP]21 [/SUP]Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The warning by Jesus could not be any clearer.
But you leave out one thing, what is the work of the Father.

John 6

[SUP]25 [/SUP]When they found him on the other side of the lake, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?”
[SUP]26 [/SUP]Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. [SUP]27 [/SUP]Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his sealof approval.”
[SUP]28 [/SUP]Then they asked him, What must we do to do the works God requires?”
[SUP]29 [/SUP]Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
[SUP]30 [/SUP]So they asked him, “What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do?[SUP]31 [/SUP]Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’[SUP][c][/SUP]
[SUP]32 [/SUP]Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven.[SUP]33 [/SUP]For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
[SUP]34 [/SUP]“Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread.”
[SUP]35 [/SUP]Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life.Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. [SUP]36 [/SUP]But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. [SUP]37 [/SUP]All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.[SUP]38 [/SUP]For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. [SUP]39 [/SUP]And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. [SUP]40 [/SUP]For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”
[SUP]41 [/SUP]At this the Jews there began to grumble about him because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.” [SUP]42 [/SUP]They said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, ‘I came down from heaven’?”
[SUP]43 [/SUP]“Stop grumbling among yourselves,” Jesus answered.[SUP]44 [/SUP]“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. [SUP]45 [/SUP]It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’[SUP][d][/SUP] Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me. [SUP]46 [/SUP]No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father. [SUP]47 [/SUP]Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life. [SUP]48 [/SUP]I am the bread of life.[SUP]49 [/SUP]Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. [SUP]50 [/SUP]But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die. [SUP]51 [/SUP]I am the living bread that came down from heaven.Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”
[SUP]52 [/SUP]Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”
[SUP]53 [/SUP]Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. [SUP]54 [/SUP]Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. [SUP]55 [/SUP]For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. [SUP]56 [/SUP]Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. [SUP]57 [/SUP]Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.[SUP]58 [/SUP]This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.” [SUP]59 [/SUP]He said this while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.

The work of the Father is to BELIEVE in Jesus. Jesus also said with out Him we can do nothing, zip, zilch, nada,He implies we can do nothing to please God,we can't know God without Him,we can't love God without Him,we can't trust Him or Obey Him without Jesus. Not one single thing can we do on our own. We are utterly and totally helpless before Him.

The reason Jesus doesn't know them is they don't believe in Him.
