Zaoman .. yeah, i had that Dinosaur album, think my parents bought it for me, haha.
One of the Grammatrain dudes hooked up with the guitarist from POD when he was outted and they did an album, i think, and apparently plenty of foul language on it. 0.0

Itore, yeah, the first 2 Haven CD's were awesome.

Marcos Curiel from P.O.D? So that's where he went! I think it was bad-blood on both sides of the band, not just them (or him).

Yeah it was the grammatrain lead vocalist, I think the band was called accident experiment, but I looked them up on wikipedia, and it basically sounds like it was just a bunch of torqued off christians trying to offend people. I know the lead vocalist from grammatrain isn't a christian anymore, but the other two still are.

For all those who think Christian rock is the bomb. From the words AC/DC who put out the most satanic music there is. "for those about to rock I salute you"

LOL I hope yer' kidding when you say that about AC/DC because I might have to introduce you to something called the internet, and buy you a calendar, because it's the year 2013 & you ain't heard "satanic" music yet. LOL

So what was all this about a former P.O.D member? I've never really followed the band line-up closely.
Bloodgood. Wow. There's a band I haven't heard in ages. I had the 1st few albums. A band I was in,we even played a few of their songs in practice just to get our singer's voice warmed up. I think we did crucify & he's the messiah? or messiah? Not sure on the title of that one...something messiah. lol
Listening to Haven Age of Darkness right now btw...love that song Holly.

Personally I believe that any band that uses a " / " in their band name is pure evil. LOL:rolleyes:

This is not a debate thread. There are 3 other threads open for that, so please stay out of this one and let us have our conversations in peace. If you don't like the music don't open the thread.

Yeah, the guitarist from POD, well, there was a contradiction in stories. POD says they kicked him for bad beliefs, but Marcos said he quit for the same reasons on the band. But he's back in the band and played on the last CD.
I'm kind of questioning them all. I have for some time.

*wonders if Arwen is thinking of him in this post too... *dreamy sigh...

I was just thinking of some other bands of which I still own some...remember Guardian? I had their first few albums. First Watch (the 1st release) was sooooo boring I remember. I think it had maybe one song I liked on it. Then they went more of like bluesy-rock kinda like Tesla-style (but I thought much better) I think that album was Fire & Love. I don't remember buying any others after that. One fav from back in the day, which I purchased again on MP3 last year was Holy Soldier's 1st album. I am kinda surprised they never broke through in the secular realm. Another band, who I no longer own,but remember picking up the cassette on a whim at a christian book store long ago because I liked the cover art was a band called Trytan (sp?) These dudes were like a clone of Rush...and IMO as far as musicianship right up there as well. Again for me..I just couldn't deal with the vocals, same as with Rush. Ok & these guys...always bizzare to me...even after years of reading interviews,I never understood the christianity aspect of their lyrics. I do still own the 1st three albums by these guys, and the band is Trouble. I think they were stoners or something...lol I dunno. Some of their tunes were pretty awesome though. I know they kept on making albums, but I never heard anything after Run To The Light.

I don't know about any close to those bands, I'm too young :p

I do know when I was in highschool there were a lot of christian bands just forcing themselves to sound like certain non-christian bands though, and they just sounded like cheap, stale copies.
