I think I've just been in the wrong places Ryan looking for the mentality of Christian guys .. Lol
This forum is really the first place I've wanted to come out of hiding in .. ( introvert ways)
so I'm sure more will blossom as time goes on.. Fun to watch it all unfold .. Some very nice people here .

Ha ha, well don't think I'm representative. I think the average Christian male is much more old fashioned and sensible on this kind of thing than I am. I'm spoiled and my outlook is downright offensive to some, lol. Yea, I've noticed you posting a lot lately. That's good :). Everyone's too nice (at least in the singles forum, lol) to have to be introverted. CC has a lot of good people.
 
I've been alone and content for A year now.. And I love it .. the thought though is I wouldnt mind letting all god has stored up in me and is now in me , flow out ..

I'm reminded of the dead sea.. lots flowing in .. but nothing flowing out .. I can see Gods hand slowly moving towoards tje hose .. Getting ready to turn
the water nozzle to the "on" position ..

I'm like " wait wait" not yet!
 
you can buy a pony. in like 5 months depending on if I decide to keep or sell this years brood.
 
and yes my house is spectacular, specially as its located on Britain's most isolated inhabited island.

uhmm...you might also want reconsider the culture of some people. In our culture, we women want to pursued and it's unusual for girls to make the first move. I totally understand that in some cultures, it is okay for the girls to do the courting but as for me I would never do such thing. LOL! Okay, maybe when i will hit 30s and I'm still single. Seriously, I don't want to stay single for life because I have seen how miserable my auntie is but then again some are happily okay with it. I think that generally, women wants to be pursued. Who wouldn't want to be pursued by someone?

I totally understand you shekainah!haha. Waiting for someone to come along can be pretty frustrating especially if you are not getting younger anymore. We live in a society where no one wants to wait on something. I think it's totally wrong to jump in a relationship with someone because you are really eager to get rid of your "singleness". I'm kinda dismayed that some people I know are like that because it is their means of filling the void of emptiness inside their hearts.

And God says in Isaiah 55-8:9
For my thoughts are not your thoughts,neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

I truly believe that all good things can come to those who wait and patience is definitely a virtue.I think it's important to pray for God's will for the timing of our love life to begin and for everything else.Relationships most definitely take time and needs to be nurtured.God is good and always on time. And the most important ingredient in a relationship is that God should be the foundation in your relationship. Never settle to anyone who doesn't love the Lord. :)God Bless!

oh, i'm so glad you guys disclose yourselves about this topic. I'ts good to have a grasp of other's point of view, though. Whatever desire we have now, to marry or not, i believe there is a divine revelation in that area. Singleness is a beautiful opportunity to know God more and His will for us."STOP-READY-GO", whichever we are in this traffic light indicator, there He's always with us. So glad :-)
