Interesting. May I ask why you felt inclined to keep half?
AMEN!
There was a fantastic ture story of a guy who found a bag left unattended. He opened it to find it was full of money. He looked high and low to find out who the bag belonged to. In the end, he went to the local police station and handed in the bag with $100,000 in it. When asked why he was handing the bag in he said "I am a Christian, am homless, but Jesus has always looked after me" - AMEN and praised be to Jesus Christ the high priest as Jesus shone through this man with pure grace, humility, and truth.
When the locals heard of what this Christian man did, the Lord blessed him by the opening of the hearts of other Christians and donations to this man came flooding in - Well beyond $100,000. Why? Because he had not STOLEN what did not belong to him, regardless of whether he could find the owner or not. Neither did he offer it to the Lord, as why would anyone with a true Christian heart, offer The Lord Jesus Christ stolen money? Who knows what deeds were done for the now found money to be obtained? And does any true Christian really want to be potentially dancing with the devil?
Matthew 7:
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Now this post isn't meant to be judgemental of anyone, but it sure opens up a potantially wonderful loving debate of finding the way, the truth, and the life XXXX
God Bless you all
