In my head I'm a realist and in my heart I'm a romantic, so this is my head speaking, but I don't find that note to be very realistic. Cute, yes. But do I think that really happens? No. I think that's why I don't really care for chick flicks either. My head knows that that stuff does not actually happen in real life, not the way it's portrayed most of the time, at least.

The crazy thing was, I was getting stalker vibes from him even before the scene where he watches her sleep (I didn't make it that far.)

I tend to be a head type of person as well. But, I also have plenty of real-life romances (mostly my friends' parents and relatives) to look at, so, I can't get too cynical.

Yeah, I didn't mean to sound so pessimistic, but there is "chick flick romance" and "real romance" and this seemed to fall under the former. And Twilight falls under neither. It falls under "unhealthy". ;)

I have not read those books, but just because someone watching over you, does not mean that the person is a stalker, he is maybe shy, and/or might just stay there to protect. So just because it might seem awkward, does not mean the person is trying or being a stalker. God bless.

Well...in the book, he was kinda considering drinking her blood. So, stalker-y or not, totally awkward.

Er...right, the topic at hand. Yeah, the guy is a weird library creeper, so guys, keep in mind it's less creepy if you just TALK to us.

I understand that shy does not equal stalker. The character in this book was definitely displaying some unhealthy behaviors though.

Yep, she found it beautiful and asked who it was, thus I revealed myself and she asked why I sent it through anonymously xD

My social network no longer has the anonymous feature on it though :/

Never did anything like that.

But I find girls (who I'm attracted to) very hard to talk to face to face, I'm totally pathetic at it. And even if I did write anything like that would probably never give it to her... altho it would be easier than talking lol

Its not saying "hi" that's so hard...its knowing the awkwardness that will follow...besides, I'm not worth the time lol

The trouble with doing something the first time is that nobody appreciates how difficult it was. And instead of be greeted with "hello", you ended-up being snubbed. But with much eagerness and sincerity, i thought, fear and shame can't get in the way of it.
