I think this would be the best idea for a forum yet! It would need to be one that gives the definitions of each gift, why it is used and how to use it. There is more than one gift for every person in this world, and i think it should be very specific in the results from the test, like say you get a but a 13 for giving,12 for prophesy but 0 in wisdom and stuff. of course we would have to be honest and we need it to be one we can start over on or retake either because we messed up or out of curiousity want to see if we get the same results. We need a number system of sorts from 0-5 for how much is true or not, i mean seriously how amazing would it be for this? and even more amazing to be able to read about the gifts and how to use them?
 
I wouldn't be taking it, I dont like these because I believe it limits a persons view of themselves and their worth. GOD can use whom-ever, whenever HE wants. When you take a test like this it can give the person the impression that "here are your results, this is all your going to be for the kingdom of GOD- have a nice life."
How do I know this? Cause many years ago I took one, and it ruined my expectation of myself and what GOD can do in me. I am s-l-o-w-l-y recovering from this. :(
 
It depends on what someone says when they give it to you. I always tell people these are never complete, rarely right, but they get you thinking about the fact that you do have spiritual gifts.
 
I would absolutely check out a test like this. I realize these kinds of tests are not 100% the end all of possibilities, but they can encourage us to look more closely at what we have to offer and where we might be able to bless others.
 
I would not rely on a man made test to tell me what gifts God has given me.
 
You know i have taken a couple of these tests, and every time i always get prophet. Last night i took a very long one and my results were interesting. I had a 13 for giving which makes perfect sense to me( 13 is the highest you can get) 12 for a prophet, and this one really spoke to me- 12 for a shepherd. Being a shepherd is one of the promises i made to god long ago, if anyone remembers i said to him i wanted to be a shepherd to collect and protect his flock, and then make more shepherds out of that flock and they would collect and protect his flock and make shepherds out of them. And the cycle would continue until the true Shepherd( Jesus) returns to take all his sheep and shepherds. Now i got other points for other things too but these three are all i remember right now, but as i said it seems no matter what test i take i get prophet. Although i have not taken many of them. Honestly if i knew how to put that test here in the forums i would but i don't know if it would work first of all because it calculates according to your answers.

Hey-oh. My test starts the moment I wake up to the moment I become unconscious - everyday.
 
The thread title reminds me of a Monty Python sketch. If I am a git, I hope I'm a spiritual one. If there's such a thing. :cool:
