Hmmm well I worked for a canadian for more than 10 years and his accent wasn't like that and my cousins in Canada don't sound like that either but I remember people from Boston sounding like that because I used to live on the east coast, but if he's canadian then I guess he sounds canadian. :p

It's a Newfoundland accent, he was born there. Just like Americans, accents are different depending on the area of the country you live in.

Ok then maybe that's why his accent sounds different to me. The canadians I've known are from Ontario and Vancouver.
 
Yeah that would be why. The Neufy accent is quite interesting. Its a mix of Irish, Scottish and Icelandic accents because of the original settlers.

Arwen, I have a Canadian question for you. I knew a guy who told me there's a sign with my picture on it in the great country of Canada. He told me it said, "Find this girl!". I laughed and thought it was cute. He told me that he left his homeland because of that sign. Now, was this a flirty pick up line? Or am I wanted by the Canadian Mounties? I'm hoping it was flirty because the guy was a cutie! Help a sister out, will ya?

I heard part of a podcast last weekend, about why some musicians and celebrities make those weird candy requests...apparently, its not so much about the candy but it's a test to make sure that their ENTIRE contract has actually been read. If the little details like candy preferences are missed, then most likely important things will also be missed during a show, like lighting settings, sound, etc. Food for thought? Though, I'm sure more than a few of these celebrities are truly that eccentric.
 
off topic, but I just gotta say that the Z'man has a real pretty lady on his couch. What year is your sunburst?
