Yeah, i had Nobody Special. Wasn't big into them, just loved the name. I've considered stealing it. haha

Was never a big fan of most of their stuff. Only a few albums. (Except i LOVED Lament) but this is an awesome version of this song.. nice good ole rock n roll.

I really liked Liquid Earth,but never did hear the 2nd album. What ever became of Novella?
 
Remember...Jet Circus? lol I am ashamed to say I owned that tape...lol I think it was called "Step On It".
Ohhhh and remember that guitar player,I think he was pretty good..umm Jeff Scheetz...somethin about a woodpecker...lol I owned his stuff too. Very Joe Satriani-ish.

Don't know what happened to Novella, guess they did like so many Christian bands and disappeared. A Liquid Earth was actually their 2nd album, not their first. The first one was One Big Sky. The song i posted is the first track off of that album.

I remember Jet Circus, never cared for them though. One of them was a member of a previous band, Leviticus maybe? And yes, Step On It was the album.

Woodpecker Stomp, i think it was. I never listened though. Didn't he do a lot of instrumental stuff? Not a big fan of that. Seemed to be popular to be a solo guitarist, but having a band more as a backup than a genuine band, back then. Didn't get into most of those.

That's right..ty for clearing that up...One Big Sky is the album I owned by Novella,not A Liquid Earth! And yeah..I didn't like that Jet Circus band either. I think I listened to the tape once & gave it away or sold it in a garage sale.lol Yeah,that's it..woodpecker stomp...and yeah he did alot of solo instrumental stuff. Some of it was cool,but much of it was boring even though he was a good guitar player.

I don't play guitar so to a degree good guitar playing is lost on me. I just listen and think 'cool music' or 'lame music' haha. But as a former drummer i will notice that. But not bothered by mediocre drumming except in more extreme styles like death metal.
 
Does anyone know where I can get any cd's or buy MP3 downloads of a band called MASSIVIVID????
