Not even worth a seious reply. Why? Because apparently you are not willing to take the time to read and understand what others are actually saying. You take a snippet of what they say and then apply a label, that is quite often incorrect. Until you actually take the time to read and understand what others say before you reply, then discussion is futile! Go ahead Zone continue posting in your unchristian manner, ridiculing, mocking, condemning and name calling those you disagree with it only shows your true colors. As you are led friend, as you are led!

I never said you said anything about Allah, or that you would become a muslim. Who’s being disingenous?

My post addressed the fact that as a Christian it would not be a wise choice to live in Iran over Israel. Both would probably be difficult to live in but I seriously believe of the two Israel is by far the better option. You want to believe differently, so be it.

Yes Israel like Iran, as well as many nations have laws that allows for illegal immigrants to be detained it’s called national security. But those laws should have no bearing on one who moves there unless they move there illegally. Not really interested in the antisemitic/antizionist videos you continue to post Zone. I will readily admit there are plenty of problems in Israel but having said that as a Christian I would still prefer Israel over Iran. Why? Because while Christians may suffer persecution in Israel they are still far safer there then they are in Iran. In this hypotetical situation it’s a matter of choosing the lesser of the two evils. Hypothetically speaking if you as a Christian would prefer to choose Iran over Israel and as a result wound up living in a more evil society where you as a Christian believer would be under the constant threat of imprisonment or death so be it.
As you are led friend, as you are led!

You are correct you can not judge a religion by it’s radical mambers. On the other hand we should judge a religion by what it actually teaches. So when a Christian resorts to violence to advance Christianity he is making a radical deparure from what Christianity is all about. On the other hand the muslim who uses violence to promote mohammads satanically inspired religion of islam is not departing from the teachings of islam therefore he is a fundamentalist, not a radical.

Quran (2:191-193) - "And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution [of Muslims] is worse than slaughter [of non-believers]... but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah."
Quran (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not."
Quran (4:95) - "Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,-"
Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"

The above quotes from the quaran should be enough to show that the muslim who resorts to violence for the advancement of islam is only doing what the quaran instructs and is therfore a fundamentalist, not a radical.. While on the other hand the Christian who resorts to violence to advance Christianity is making a radical departure. So you see my friend you are comparing apples to oranges. While the violence is a radical departure from what Scripture instructs for a Christian, violence is the norm for a muslim who does as the quaran instructs

But let's not forget just because they choose to be our enemies we must still love them and share the gospel with them. The internet has proven to be an effective tool for comunicating and sharing the gospel with Muslims in islamic controlled countries.
At least we agree on something concerning the radical members. :)

I have always wondered about the Satanical inspired Islam. If you know what Saudia Arabia was like before Islam, it does not make any sense.

Islam introduces the concept of one God. Teaches about the prophets of the old testament. I can imagine Satan yelling to a whole lot of people praying to idols and telling them

HEY DUDES get rid of those idols and pray to the God of Abraham.

Maybe you have some insights I don't have. :)

By the way Quran (8:12) was a message to the angels. That bit of the verse always seems to be left out for some reason. ;) We know God has asked the angels to do some heavy things in the old testament. Interesting it states to remove the finger tips since now finger tips are a way of identifying people.

The verses you selectively bolded speaks of removing oppression and persecution from the land. If you know about the events that were occurring at that time you would understand. The Muslims were fighting to save their lives from attacks from a far larger force. God was trying to lift their morale and tell them he will protect them but they need to help themselves as well. Do you consider the good police and firemen that fight to protect the US have a higher grade ? Of course people who fight to remove oppression and persecution from the land have a higher grade.

Just because the media isn't reliable and is obviously biased does not give one license to buy into unreliable sources that promote their own agendas through conspiracy theories. Sadly many that realize the media is biased are all too quick to jump on the conspiracy theory bandwagon. Very few sources give an honest evaluation of what is really going on in todays world.

I wonder why relations soured US and Iran.

Relations were cordial between Iran and US up until World War 2. The US were seen as the more favoured Western country by Iran. After World War 2 the relationship soured when the government of Mohammad Mossadeq was overthrown by a coup organized by the CIA.

“rising internal tensions and continued deterioration ... might lead to a breakdown of government authority and open the way for at least a gradual assumption of control” ***
*** Gasiorowski writing in Mohammad Mosaddeq and the 1953 Coup in Iran, Edited by Mark J. Gasiorowski and Malcolm Byrne, Syracuse University Press, 2004, p.230-1

The good old US behind the scenes manipulating. Hopeful for Iran to have rising tensions and general deterioration. I guess they got that in spades.

Jimmy Carter providing several billions dollars support for Suddam Hussain war against the Iran also didn’t help relations with the US. In 1982 Ronald Reagan continued supplying weapons etc to Iraq for the express purpose to invade Iran.

File:Shakinghands high.OGG - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fuzzy video of Donald Rumsfeld shaking hands with Saddam.
The US used Iraq as a pawn to attack Iran. We all saw what happened to Iraq after it served its purpose. Dead men tell no tales.

On July 3, 1988, near the end of the Iran–Iraq War, the U.S. Navy guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes shot down Iranian Airbus A300B2, which was on a scheduled commercial flight in Iranian airspace over the Strait of Hormuz. The attack killed 290 civilians from six nations, including 66 children. USS Vincennes was in the Persian Gulf as part of Operation Earnest Will. The United States initially contended that flight 655 was a warplane and then said that it was outside the civilian air corridor and did not respond to radio calls. Both statements were untrue, and the radio calls were made on military frequencies to which the airliner did not have access.
Washington Post, January 11, 2008, “Iranian Boats May Not Have Made Radio Threat, Pentagon Says,” Iranian Boats May Not Have Made Radio Threat, Pentagon Says1988: US warship shoots down Iranian airliner

What did George H W Bush say about the killing of all those Iranian civilians on that airliner after being confronted with all these facts/ A heart felt apology perhaps ... well no

"I'll never apologize for the United States of America. Ever. I don't care what the facts are."

Who are the bad guys again ?

Elliott Abrams, a well-known neoconservative ideologue, is a senior fellow for Middle East studies at the Council on Foreign Relations. A key adviser on Mideast policy at the National Security Council (NSC) during the George W. Bush presidency, Abrams was a leading proponent within the Bush administration of an interventionist “war on terror” after the 9/11 attacks. Previously, Abrams was a key figure in the Ronald Reagan administration, during which time he was convicted (and later pardoned) of charges related to the Iran-Contra scandal.

oh. it's connected?
who knew?

Argentina eventually became one of the two principal reasons why Reagan's first Secretary of State, Alexander Haig, resigned on June 25, 1982. (The other area of disagreement was over Israel's invasion of Lebanon.) Haig later charged that his official policy of siding with Britain against Argentina (supported by Reagan, whose closest personal ally abroad was Margaret Thatcher) had been seriously undercut, not just by Ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick, but by someone above her in the White House...

The American Security Council (ASC)—not to be confused with the distinct though related American Security Council Foundation (ASCF)—was a leading anti-communist group during the Cold War. ASC was once described as the “heart and soul of the military-industrial complex” because of its strong backing from and support for top defense contractors in the post-World War II era.[1] Notable members and supporters of the group have included Jeane Kirkpatrick, John S. Foster, Jr., William Van Cleave, Clare Booth Luce, atomic physicists Edward Teller and Eugene Wigner, and Charles Burton Marshall...

...(The “Peace Through Strength” motto remains a rallying cry for hawkish wonks and politicians, including serving as the maxim for the neoconservative Center for Security Policy, founded by Reagan-era Pentagon official Frank Gaffney.)

According to Fisher, the decision to change the group’s mission and focus on external threats and U.S. defense policy was spurred by the Cuban revolution and Fidel Castro’s “success in taking over Cuba for Communism.”[6] This event “was of particular interest to American business because the Cuban branches of major companies, like Sears, were nationalized without compensation. This shifted the ASC’s interest to defense and foreign policy issues. It broadened its mission to that of changing the U.S. strategy goal to that of ‘defend and extend freedom’ to replace the failing U.S. strategy variously called containment, accommodation, détente and convergence.”[7]

Elliott Abrams, a former high level State Department official during the 1980s, testified last week that the Reagan administration knew that Argentina's military junta was systematically stealing babies from murdered and jailed democracy activists and giving them to right-wing families friendly to the regime.

In a meeting with the Junta's ambassador in Washington on December 3, 1982, Abrams suggested that the dictatorship could "improve its image" by creating a process with the Catholic Church of returning the children, some of whom were born in secret torture chambers, to their legitimate families. The contents of this meeting were recorded in a memo Abrams wrote, which was declassified by the State Department in 2002 and is now a key piece of evidence against former junta officials in this high profile trial...

..Meanwhile, Argentina isn't the only Latin American country facing its bloody past—and Abrams played a role in these state atrocities as well...

..In another recent instance, El Salvador's President Mauricio Funes apologized and asked for forgiveness for the 1981 El Mozote massacre where the Atlacatl battalion, a notorious US-trained death squad, killed as many as 1,000 people. Like in Guatemala and Argentina, Reagan with Abrams' help simultaneously armed and covered-up the human rights abuses in El Salvador. The country endured a 12-year civil war which left some 70,000 people dead, with the Reagan-backed government and paramilitaries believed to be responsible for over 90 percent of the deaths. In 1993 when Congress planned to investigate the Reagan administration's role in human rights abuses in El Salvador an indignant Abrams' called it “a reprehensible McCarthyite charge," while also saying that, "The Administration's record on El Salvador is one of fabulous achievement."

Muslims see all their children being murdered around them so you think they might be thinking that Christians don't like them ? The cycle needs to be broken. It is not going to be broken while people lay the blame on others and ignore the attrocities of the people that represent them perform.
That certainly adds to the problem, but they hated us before it was a problem. Why has everyone forgotten what Islam is?

Let's not fool ourselves into wishful thinking.

Because most have bought into the politically correct agenda of the media that islam is a religion of peace. Other's have bought into the conspiracy theories blaming the Jews!
It's really sad but that is he way it is in the end. People would rather have their ears tickled then hear the truth.

I wish I was good at attaching stuff to my posts. A picture paints a thousand words they say. I would show a map of maybe Britain and slowly fill in with green all the countries like Indian and Malaysia around it that were made "civilised". Maybe a map of South America being purged. Maps of Australia and the US who indigenous people were hunted for sport by the civilised. Oh well, I'll just have to be happy with just words.
