Hey I'm just now trying Firefox, and it's like 10 times faster than IE! I don't have to wait several seconds for each forum page to load (or for the chat window to open); it's like instant.

I'm sold.

P.S. They advertise that they're latest version (3.5) is much faster than the earlier ones, so make sure you have the latest version.
 
I think Firefox is much faster for everything on the Internet than IE. I started using Firefox sometime last year and now I almost never use IE.
 
I used IE for years, but one day my sister set up my browser to use Firefox instead, without even asking me.

It was like discovering the internet all over again.
 
I started having problems with IE a couple of years ago. Someone from this chat told me to try Mozilla (Firefox) and it made the world of difference! I deleted IE off my computer completly.

I don't know how it manages to be so good, but IE started to become so slow and laborious on my computer that it wouldn't even let me watch YouTube anymore, and it struggled with Java Applets. No such problems with Firefox.
 
Yes, Firefox is the best web browser around. IE is just terrible in every way. I actually use Google Chrome for most of by browsing purposes, but it does not work as well in the CC chatroom as Firefox does, so now I use Firefox mostly just for CC chat. I unfortunately have to use IE to watch movies online through my Netflix account, because their player is not compatible with any other browser.

my computer has messed it up,.. it has Flash on Firefox and the newest Java on explorer :p forces me to switch now and then *grrr*
but ya, overall firefox is way better (apart from the recent security issues)
