All I'm saying "guy's" is that if your are married and love your wife. She has a way of getting to you that nothing else can. I am not a feminist and as I said God can you whoever he chooses. Hey, even spoke through a donkey, Then He can certainly speak through a woman.
After all this time you are still ignoring what the Bible says about authority. God, through Paul, said that a woman is not to have authority over a man. Being a pastor puts you in a position of authority, therefore God ordained pastors to be men, not women. Just because women are allowed to preach is not the same thing as being in a position of authority, such as being a pastor. I wish you would understand that, but it's like talking to a brick wall.

Dumb to say. Judgmental.

Dumb to say, too. Judgmental.

Dumb to say, three. Judgmental.

)))))(((((

And, to onlinebud...

God's ways are not our ways, you been having fun hitting 'like' for people's 'dumb' posts yet dumbest of all is you are supporting women pastors being anything BUT a problem in God's eyes or in God's ways.

This pretty much sums it up: God's ways are not our ways nor His thoughts our thoughts, as is He of quote , in Isaiah :)

Plus, go to 1 Cor. 2 : God tells us who can know our own thoughts but who? OURSELVES. And who else? God, of course.

And, here is a good question for you: Who knows God's thoughts? Oh, I already answer that, I know, in Isiaah 58 Scripture verse but who?

So, we know God is in control, He 'called' Paul 1 Cor. 1:1 tells us and, guess what, He calls women and men. You REALLYU have to be dumb to be so ignorant of a woman pastor on the pulpit SPEAKING and NOT knowing that she, just like a man pastor, is getting her messages from God. It can be NO OTHER WAY, and, THAT, my buddyonline, is God's way :)

And, God gave you your thoughts and brain, not to mention you have 'the mind of Christ,' so how in praytell is a woman pastor in charge of you at church? LOL, she ain't !!! Jesus authority ONLY was His Father in Heaven.
I guess you're another liberal feminist who ignores the word of God. People like you are like a cancer in the church. You poison God's word with your liberal feminism. You need to repent of this, unless you want to spend eternity in hell with Satan and his demons.

Here's where I stand, there is nothing wrong with a woman teaching, so long as it's in the proper setting, such as a woman's conference, or a ladies night, but for a woman to take the office of pastor is contrary to God's wordBecause being in that office she will be over men in the capacity of that office, and that is contrary to God's wordspeaking of Priscilla, she taught along side her husband, with Esther, she commanded the women to fast, and came to the king with a humble spiritthere is no record of Anna and Deborah preaching to a crowd, Deborah took balaam (I think that's his name) to the side and told him what God wanted him to do. Like I said there is no problem with women teaching, but it must be in the proper setting, or do you think God is like a man and changes his mind? We have seen destructive ministries run by women, who have taken the role of a man, Paula white, and Joyce meyer are two that come to mind

Isn't the word God inspired??? To say it was just Paul's opinion is to say he wasn't writing under the inspiration of the holy spirit, we can't turn gods word into what we want it to say just cause we don't agree with it
Your absolutely correct that was my bad

Just odd to see the title of this thread " The problem of female pastors". Seeing men have lead the church all these years, into division and derision, men should stop focusing on women and do some self analysis..We need to take inventory of where we are in life.

Matthew 7:5
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Mark 3:25

25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
.

We need unity among Christians ; not attacks on even the women ;whom God created .

Genesis 2:24
King James Version (KJV)

24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Mark 10:
8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.

That passage is talking about marriage between man and woman. Not leadership in the church.

I'm addressing the title and the bad attitude I witness regarding threads about women. Just do a simple search of the Forum. Leader ship in the church most likely has a man married, to a women. They are both one. So how on earth, do you have half, of one flesh silent... Conclusions should be then: There is a misunderstanding in the way people are reading the Bible. .

Well, they are written of in the word of God.... I have posted them so many times I lost count.

The question is, have you you read it ?

A lot of these misunderstandings of scripture would stop, if people held their tongues before they speak. If they have not read the majority of the Bible, or can not recall it, then we should not speak about something we have no real grasp of. Because women preachers have gotten a bad rap from not understanding the Bible or even being able to recall that something is written of.

Women taking positions of authority within the church isn't just non-scriptural, but unscriptural. It is disobedience to God. Would you encourage disobedience?

You have not read then all the places where women do take authority in teaching God's word. The conclusion is your taking Paul's teachings in a away ; or light ;you would like to see them in . Only in the light of one verse .

It is male feminists like you who misunderstand the scriptures. Like Peter says, people twist the writings of Paul to their own destruction (2 Peter 3:15-16).

Then show us anywhere in the Bible where women are pastors? Sure, you can show me verses where women preached or were a leader, but never a pastor in authority over men. Show us from the Bible without distorting the context.

I do not know of any Sister Pastors , as of now i do not know of any sisters in Christ that are pastor in my city or state, since i am not influenced by them i am not personally affected by them or have any authourity in this matter. I am resposible to respond for my own decerment and knowledge if and when i am personally affected by a Sister to whether she is given to have the authourity or influence into my walk with the Lord, small or major, so if you enjoy debate and Logos wrestling, i refain from such, so what and to whom is this a problem first hand? Ultimately, it will be your belief and what is in your heart influenced by the Holy Spirit sensatly. If the situation arises to me then i would pray about it and what ever the Lord influences my heart i will ask for strength and His wisdom to respond, whether it is to stay or to leave or to warn or correct. If this wrestling with the word "Logos" is beneficial to others then i only encourage those in that situation to pray first and foremost then do as He tells you. Otherwise if you enjoy debate and wrestling in the Logos "word" then as i have read and observe, i exhort you to produce the fruit of Logos"Jesus" the fruit of His Holy Spirit which is far better and wiser for each one of your hearts and souls. Those are what will be appraised and endure forever.

Pay attention to these words: within the church

The conclusion is your taking Paul's teachings in a away ; or light ;you would like to see them in . Only in the light of one verse .
Nah, I've got the rest of scripture that testifies. 1 Timothy 2:12 is just an easy and blunt one.

2 Timothy 2:15

King James Version (KJV)

15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

I hardly call beating women with one or two verse study. I call that ignorance and laziness.. Or is all the divisions good in your sight. ? Having half, of all God's church silent okay with you ? It is not okay with me .

To Take all of God's written words into full account, you can reasonably conclude God uses women to teach His word. That they should teach if qualified to do so.. To think ;that women should not teach , in the church, to me, there is a gross error taking place..................

According to all of the Bible, it is not reasonable, to keep women from teaching the Bible, more so when they are called by God to do so.

Prove it.

According to all of the Bible, it is not reasonable, to keep women from teaching the Bible,
We're not saying that can't teach whatsoever under any circumstances. Don't accuse falsley.

more so when they are called by God to do so.
See the above.

Huldah – Prophetess II Kings II Chronicles Head of God's house. Men at one time in the scripture, they're confused , they want to know what the word of God has to say.So they went down to the university, God's house, The head of it was Huldah ( Women ) And Huldah gave them the answers from God's word . 2 Kings 22:13-16, 2 Kings 22:20, 2 Chronicles 34:22-28

This is only one, example .

Later I will put together a study with all related scripture on women. By the end, a reasonable person will see that God does use women, to teach, and many other things.
