I just don't see how someone else can say that a persons calling isn't their calling.
How does anyone else know what God is saying to you? He doesn't use a megaphone.
God does change things, He made a new covenant, before that the high priest could go behind the veil once a year to make the sacrifice, because of the change the God made happen. He sent His Son to die for us and I think we should tell people that. Indiscriminate of sex, if you are called to preach then preach! (I am not, I don't like public speaking)

I read enough! And some absurd scripture too about how women should be silent in church.

Hmmm, it's important to rightly divide Scripture, there is a reason, I think, that Paul said that women are not to ask questions in church, it is because they were disrupting the services by their questions. I think there is a time-specific context to this 1 Cor. 14: 34-35, as well as 1 Tim. 2 missive statements Paul makes to the Corinth and Ephesus churches, respectively. This time is when women were becoming unruly and bad-naturedly telling men that they were lower in rank than the women. Paul puts the kabitz on this thinking quickly, telling women AND men what needs done so that proper order of leadership, as Christ intended in the church, is followed. Man was created first, man was not deceived, but woman was, this is something to put the brakes on these pompous, full of themselves, men-bashing, dominating, out of control women that were beginning to take over the church, perhaps. The men were being, for no lack of a better word, WIMPY. The men were being wimps, not sticking up for God, not doing things that God put on their hearts to do, thus, Paul gave missives to re-adjust their attitudes. Straigten them up, let's just call Paul, 'The straightener.'

I read a prophecy from Enoch a little while ago that said the end of the world will be near when men and wimen are the same. I think we are getting close. I dont know many real men that love God and I have been searching for a biblical woman for AGES!
I don't think you did read enough, we have been arguing about it for 20 pages with plenty more scripture.

He has also been in multiple threads criticizing Jesus, God, and our devotion to him. Him thinking women being silent is absurd is just one of many criticisms he has shown.
If you feel you are being called to do something, and find out that it is not allowed in scripture then it isn't God that is giving you the calling. Being led by feelings, and emotions is not a good way to make judgements.
God did create a new covenant, and we are still under that covenant. This covenant does not allow woman to preach in the presence of men. IF a woman wants to preach to a group of ladies that is fine, but men....no.
I will say one thing. This passage has been explained that woman of that time acted in a way the Paul needed to tell them to be silent. Therefore this passage was meant for a certain time, but not meant for a woman to literally submit in silence.
Then you go to other teachings of Pauls, and suddenly the same people say his teachings aren't meant for just that time, but for everyone in the exact text you read it. Bottom line is Paul was speaking to Christians. They may have been in the early church, but all his teachings apply to Christians of every age, unless specified otherwise by Paul or another apostle. We cannot pick and choose what scriptures, apply and what does not. All apply, in full context. All commands of God apply til the end of time.
Sure did seem this way when he went up against the religous pious leaders of his day for they were hyppocrites being by the letter of the Law to use it to get thier own way.
So he went to the cross to take away the hypocrisy and bring in LOVE his Fathers love best described 1 Cor.13 that if we all would only recieve this offered in and by the resurrection of christ the Old is gone and the new is here right here right now believe and recieve we are in a new covenant of Love by the cross first the death that takes away all sin from Father's perspective so that by belief in this being taken away, Christ can present you Holy to his Father and Father comes to live in you via the Holy Ghost the first day of belief (Eph. 1:13 and verse 7and teaches each the truth that sets you free from all these traps that man just keeps getting entagled in. Wow! as Christ said many times Ye of little Faith, believe and be free in him it is all found in the cross the dividing line of Human history before the cross and after is very significant to truth and delivers us to Godly love forsaking worldly love
God can:
Matthew 3:9And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
Or even the word for they read the word and the word is Christ that was spoken of and they did not believe him
John 10:25Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
John 10:37If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
It is noit the word that sets one free it is the truth of the word and today after the cross:
Galatians 3:28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Today in christ this is truth from God the Father's perspective
The Book of Enoch is ridiculed as wicked in Jude and ... rats I forget the other (it's an epistle of John I think - or Peter)
It is that ridicule that most don't see because the the don't realise the Book of Enoch was widely read and the apostles and Jude ridiculed it.
So they draw conclusions from both that are based upon only part of the information.

I can only second that. God does not look at thwe gender, he looks at one's heart. I always enjoy for instance the sermons of Joyce Meyer. She had a very difficult life before and even after her conversion. She was sexually abused by her father and now she preaches all over the world. In addition, she cares for people who are hepless.
