Lessons learned in CC ?

Well when i first started coming to cc i would argue with a person all day long if need be to get a point across, one day i really felt convicted about this . God began to show me that discussing a point and arguing a point are totally different .When i disagree with a person i can share respectfully my view backed with the word of course then leave the 'convincing ' to Him ,thats what The Holy Spirit does anyway, but to argue it ..just isnt necessary,one of the frutis of the Spirit is peace after all, and maybe just maybe i was wanting to be right .........not necessarily trying to convince them of anything.Anyway a valuable lesson learned here at cc. id love to hear any like experiences anyone has. Care to share???

Since starting here ... I have made some wonderful new friends which I hope that they consider me a friend too. Some are more special then other's but we are ALL CHRISTIANS HERE so we should LOVE each other and be there to UPLIFT & SUPPORT each other through the good times & the bad times as well.

So, with that said I want to take this time to say THANK YOU to all those who have made my stay here a memorable one for sure ... I look forward to getting to know you more in the COMING YEAR and if I can help with anything give me a shout out !!!

I started 2 years ago, but i wasnt really that active.. and when i came back after 1 year,, wow. i missed a lot of great things!!
now im coming back mwahahahahah.. and hey! im not here to be friends with everyone ...cuz that is impossible!! lol. i just enjoy every minute of my stay here and well

lessons i've learned.. okay um.

drama - yeah. well. i hated and loved and hated and loved a friend of mine here... i learned that NOT all online buddies are liars. like what i thought before. --yes we will doubt everyone cuz we havent met them.. but um.. welll yeah, there's always something different.

bible knowledge - this site has been very helpful.. some forum topics and some folks determined me to read my bible more. and learn from it. and live the Word.

prayer partners - thanx to everyone who prayed with me when i needed them.

and also hehe God has given me something because of this site

AND --- God's part in my life is getting bigger everyday, and He used CC in some particular ways

Met some interesting yet fascinating charcters........! thing I've learned is that All Yankees aint bad(.just the smart allic ones /JK).But seriously
you guys are great! I love coming here.wish time would allow me to come more often.But then Id never get anything else done <Another lesson I've learned here.hahahahaahah

uhm, well I don't much come on and socialize as much as I used to, but there are two lessons (if one could call them that)in particular that stick out to me.

Lesson one: teen chat is scary and detrimental to my health, so it is best if I simply don't go in there.

Lesson two: there was this chatter whom most of us on CC used to debate with back when I first joined. I'm not sure what happened to him. Maybe he was banned or maybe he simply grew tired of CC. Anyways, he was agnostic and it was through him I learned how to be more open-minded when debating with non-Christians. *sigh* I miss debating with him.

I agree we do have to take people with a grain of salt.. And we also need to give people a chance and get to know them.. I know there are people who I thought I would never want to talk to . I have took the time to get to know them and have becaome great friends with them .. So manytimes we so too quick to cast judgment on hearsay and not taking time to know someone.. I would have missed out on alot of great friends.. Such as William. Stilly and Phyduex. And dear ole Zander.. lol. I would argue with these guys all the time.. But when I got to know them I found out they really was nice people.. They just like to have fun .. I am glad I got to know all of them and many others.. SO give it time.. Get to know someone.. GOd sent us all here for a reason..

This chatroom has reinforced the verse about "Iron sharpening Iron" for me.

I've learned to think for myself about issues of the Bible instead of following what my grandma says or my pastor says to the Tee. it's nice! Thanks everyone

Even if you think you will remember the pan- DON'T DO IT. Remember the FLAMES and the SMOKE. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF YOUR DWINDLING PILE OF POTS, STAY OFF OF CC WHEN COOKING RICE!! Now if you will all excuse me, I have another pot to try and salvage.

I learned something new too hehe ..

There are two kinds of online friends... The 'friend' who likes you the way you are... (who is concerned with what you are doing and how you are doing.. and is gonna talk to you about everything because they want to.. and they well still talk to you even if everyone has ignored you)

and the 'friend' who likes you cuz of what you're saying... (they call themselves your friends.. WHEN - you have a funny joke that cracked them up... and WHEN, everyone else knows you, and WHEN - you give an answer to the hardest questions.., they are those.. chat once-pals.. when you are quiet.. or you're not doing something that get's everyone's attention.. they won't talk to you either =P)
