I think you are confusing sanctification and justification and glorification.
Justified is when Christ makes us right. Sanctification is the on-going work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, changing us into the image of Christ. Glorification is when we see Christ face to face and we sin no more.
"Since we have such a hope, we are very bold, [SUP]13 [/SUP]not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end. [SUP]14 [/SUP]But their minds were hardened. For to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away.[SUP]15 [/SUP]Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their hearts. [SUP]16 [/SUP]But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. [SUP]17 [/SUP]Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. [SUP]18 [/SUP]And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit." 2 Cor. 3:12-18.
Notice how is says we are BEING transformed. In the process, and in the passive, because God is doing it to us, with the power of the Holy Spirit. If we were already perfect, what would be left to transformed?
That is also why we are to allow the Holy Spirit to transform us.
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. [SUP]2 [/SUP]Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will" Romans 12:1-2
Because we are not yet perfect!
