I don't even believe in scarves.

They're on the same level as shoe laces: Non-existent.

I will take the risk of getting banned & dragging the whole thread into the gutter, just 'cause I can't resist to ask this question...but is that some sort of fetish I'm not up to date on???? lol *hangs head in shame...leaves thread*

Male scarves are only permissible during the winter. In order for a male to wear a scarf and retain his appearance of manliness, the scarf must be accompanied by red and black flannel, suspenders, and an axe.

Otherwise you start to sound like this guy:

I think that belongs in the creepy creepers thread :p
yes, it was an intentional direct reference to it.

read enough threads on enough sleep deprivation and they're all just one thread after a while.

Maybe I meant that scarves and shoe laces are both unnecessary.

I don't really know, my editor took the day off and left me to my own devices.

MissCris, I'm going to be pretty jealous if you've someone found shoes with Velcro flaps (no laces) in adult sizes -- I have been on the prowl for them since my feet outgrew my childhood pairs and if you've found a source without telling me, things could get ugly.

I have a tendency to spill something on myself nearly every time I eat or drink something in public. If the man I was with offered to clean up the mess with his scarf, I'd be pretty touched by his sacrifice. I'd like having him around as my own personal diaper bag!!

That, and he'd probably qualify as being fashionable for both of us, seeing as I'm usually in a t-shirt.

Wow. I'm suddenly having happy visions of myself and Scarf-ace McDreamy... me in my Color-of-the-Day t-shirt and him in a perfectly coordinated (and super-absorbant) color-matched neckpiece... When did you say he was coming to pick me up??!!
