I totally agree, Powemm.

If anyone wants to see my superpowers, just invite me to a buffet/potluck/dinner party.

I can clear out an entire table by myself. :) And, if it was really good, I'll even offer to do the dishes.
I eat like that, too.

I love to dance. I have studied dance since I was very little, all types. It was the only feminine thing my mom could find that interested me. :) Ballet is my favorite. I love going to the studio, turning on the music and getting lost in the dance.

The other areas of my life are so intense. It feels amazing to have a place of escape. :)

PFFFFTTTT!!! Whatever, MissCris. You always have something meaningful to say--your posts make me think and laugh simultaneously! (Sometimes you send my brain into a traffic jam because I want to laugh, cry, and hug you all at the same time.)
I dunno about "meaningful"...I yammer on about some stuff a lot...

What I mean is, Thank you! Of course that's what I mean.

Hmm. Well, I'll have a good long think to see if I come up with anything interesting about me.

...I might have to do something interesting first.

One time while I was driving home, I hit a deer going 50 mph. Me, no, the car, not the deer. Mostly, I just tapped him, and he rolled, stood up, stared at me, and we both went- at the SAME TIME- "Oh snap! That just happened."

And then he ran away, and possibly died.

My mom made me go to cosmetology school to learn something useful. Like, she had this idea that because I like to paint my own fingernails and fix my hair, I should do that to other people, for money.

I don't...like...people. Not enough to get that close to them, anyway.

So the first time, I went just to do nails. And I was bad at it. Because I had to touch people and talk to them. Any time I was scheduled to give a pedicure, I called in sick.

Then I got my license for that, and a year later or so, I went back to do hair, because I thought that might be less...touchy and feety.

And most of the girls in my class made fun of me because I was really slow and overly careful, and very quiet. One of them started calling me "Wall paper"...she meant wall flower, but wall paper is what stuck...um, no pun intended.

And I hated it, I hated it, I hated it!

But our instructors loved me because I could do finger waves (a style right out of the...um...50's? Maybe?) better than anyone else.

And then there was the time I let one of the girls shoot. Me. In. The. Face.

She pierced my nose, actually, but I was pretty sure I was dying, for about 20 minutes.

So, I got my license to cut/dye/perm hair, too. I didn't use either license, never worked in a salon (except for a few days and had zero clients).

My favorite job was working as a housekeeper at a hotel, scrubbing toilets. It paid just over $7 per hour, but I had never felt so useful in my life.

...except the day I had to help a drunk girl walk home, and she punched me in the face because somebody else called the cops when she saw us staggering down the street- the girl was staggering due to vodka, I was staggering because I was trying to hold her up. And the police showed up and took us both to the station. They thanked me for trying to help, the girl punched me, and I went home.

Another interesting thing about me is that I like the clicky sound of my typing, and I share way too much information.

I love making art crafts and hosting parties in my little room. I took care of everything from props to food prep.

I don't think I'm very interesting. I don't do anything extreme, I'm not highly talented in any one area, or anything like that. One thing that I can think of is that I'm a twin, and we're pretty much opposite in almost every way. :p

You sound really cool though, Markum1972! Not that I don't want thieves in my neighborhood, but that would be a sight to see!

I used to volunteer at a local wildlife rehab center for injured/orphaned animals. :D I have many fond memories from that job...as well as many gross ones, hehehe.

Not sure if this belongs in Interesting thread or Creeper thread...

Kind of like what he's doing to us all right now. Each and every day... from behind his computer screen.

Interesting things about me...hmmmm..

-I wore braces for four years..I had the meanest orthodontist. My parents stopped taking me there because there wasn't a time I came out of there that I wasn't crying.

-I wear contacts/glasses... When I went to get my eyes checked for the first time, the optometrist didn't believe I couldn't see the letters on the screen. They broke my dad back to try to get him to get me to admit to "faking" my bad vision. Needless to say, here I am at 35 and if I take off my glasses I can't see anything but some pretty lights on a rectangle in front of me.

-I moved too many times to count growing up. I went to twelve schools. I made friends and lost them all in the same year.

-When people meet me, I am hard to forget. I still look the same as I did at 18 besides a few(hundred) lbs heavier(joke if you didn't know).

-I was hit by a mail lady in PA when I was in my teens and visiting a friend. She backed into me as I was pulling into a drive way because she forgot to put mail in a mailbox because she was too busy talking to my friend's grandparents. I got a lot of scrapes and bruises plus a new bike out of the whole thing.

Alright so it wasn't real interesting. At least give me credit for replying.:p

I thought of some!

- I've never dated
- I love my middle name. I feel like most people don't like theirs or they're just okay with it, but I love mine.
- I could (and can) drink milk with anything and everything
- I've broken my arms (twice on my left, once on my right) three different times from being clumsy.
- I can't sleep without a fan on
- I have a stuffed unicorn that I've slept with at night since 6th grade.
- I never wear shorts, or even capris. 99.9% of the time I wear pants/jeans, and occasionally a long skirt

I don't know if those are interesting or just weird/random facts.

- I have never owned a vehicle with an automatic transmission. (I'm on my fifth car.)
- I love the city of Chicago, and would totally move there if they had parking. And if I wasn't locked into the Texas TRS.
- I like my oatmeal savory. I toast steel-cut oats in butter before cooking them in chicken broth with ground turkey sausage mixed in. And the last minute it's on the stove? Crack an egg over the top. That's a MAN's oatmeal. Or at least, THIS man's.
- It's been almost two years and I still sleep on one side of the bed. >_<
- I can't explain why, but I really like French cuffs. This makes shirt shopping doubly difficult.
- I still own and use a tube television, and refuse to upgrade to a flatscreen until this one dies.
