I have to be invited somewhere in order to reveal my superpowers.. They only come out in projects and gatherings.. That's if I'm allowed to go ...

You and me both! I don't reveal my super powers to just anybody, and most people are scared away by them anyway. *shrugs* We should commiserate!

But our instructors loved me because I could do finger waves (a style right out of the...um...50's? Maybe?) better than anyone else.

First, finger waves became popular in the 20s. They're difficult to do! So be proud of yourself. And second, I look for your posts because you're funny as all get out. When I come to Colorado for coffee, I'd love for you to do my hair. :p I'm kidding of course, except about the coffee. I think it would be fun to have a conversation with you.

Let's see...

Aimee is what everyone calls me, but it isn't my legal name.

I think Duck Dynasty is hilarious!

I need to take the MBTI test again. I've been thinking about it all day.

When I type, I mostly do so without my glasses. I'm not sure why.

I don't like poodles. I trace that back to my grandmother.

I love coffee.

I got yelled at at work today because I stuck up for myself.

If I were to get a tattoo, it would be of a Phoenix.

I have a pic of a Phoenix as a background on my iPhone, it's rising out of the ashes and is on fire.

I don't have a leather jacket, but I really like them.

At least once a summer I threaten to shave my head.

One more. I'm glad I can think of more now, I feel a tiny bit more interesting. :D

- I type at about 85-90 WPM and it's getting faster

- I have never owned a vehicle with an automatic transmission. (I'm on my fifth car.)
It's on my bucket list to learn how to drive manual! I don't know anyone around me who has a manual car, though. Wanna drive up to IL? :D

I decided to go to Winn Dixie this evening. The combination of my getting over being sick, the pollen in the air, and probably my lack of water consumption in the past few days had me absolutely winded, just walking from my car into the store.
Anyhow, I had a serious bout of the dry heaves when I pushed my cart past the produce section.

I think dry heaving is kind of funny, so there's my interesting thing.

I freak out when I see blood splattering around in a violent scene on tv or at the movies, but watching a gory medical procedure does not bother me, nor does seeing blood in real life.

I have a few old collectible comic books, including the first appearance of Iron Man (1962) and the X-Men (1963), among others.

I used to teach music in public schools, but the program in which I taught got shut down. I still teach piano lessons in addition to my current "real" job.

I make a clam chowder that is to die for!

I am a coffee addict.

This little factoid makes me feel all the more blessed that I still have a job. (That, added to a pretty good day at work.)

I like raspberries!
Om nom nom nom nom.

I'm allergic to raspberries. I'm not sure we can be friends any more... :(
Wait, does being allergic to raspberries mean you're allergic to people who EAT raspberries! Wow, I didn't know it worked that way - I need to start avoiding people who eat cats!

Now you're just playing on my love of the greater Chicago area. No fair. (I haven't been back there in a good six or seven years. I really should go visit. I love Independence Day on the Navy Pier. Oh wait, I have a gig on Independence Day. Of course, I do. >_< )

Also, much like the late Mitch Hedburg, I can also type over 100 wpm. But it's in my own language.

hmmmm.

pink has always been my favorite color.

i dance in public even if people can see me.

i like to flaunt my weirdest traits so there are no surprises later and people can make up their minds right away if i'm someone they think they like. i'm not into keeping secrets from people.

i'm in love with exercise

i'm Jewish but i spent most of my life semi trying not to be.

i've broken up and gotten back together with the same friend over 10 times in the 2 years i've known him

I've only been to Chicago once (and ironically it wasn't when I lived in IL), in August, and I saw a fireworks display at Navy Pier. It was the most amazing fireworks display I have ever seen in my life. I grew up in a tiny town and many things amazed me in Chicago, actually.

(To tie into the thread, another interesting fact about me is that I'm easily entertained/amused).

You mean I'm not allergic to Arwen?! Shouryu, you're a lifesaver! I miss Mitch Hedberg. He was a funny, funny guy.
He had a potty mouth and was high a lot, but he was hilarious! My friend and I used to quote him (in a censored way, ha) all the time.

I don't know if this is interesting or just weird, but I like variety in some areas of my life. I'm pretty good at being able to entertain myself, but at the same time, I get bored somewhat easily. I don't like keeping the same purse for more than a few weeks before I change it out, and in the shower I have to have at least two different body washes and face cleansers. I don't like using the same thing every night. I also change the brand of shampoo/conditioner I buy every time I run out.

I wish I had a "signature scent" and there is one scent (I dislike using the word "perfume" because I feel like it conntates overpowering powdery smells) that would be it, but I like wearing different ones, based on what I'm wearing or my mood.

I like having variety and options. That doesn't relate to my relationships, though. I'm very loyal to my friends and family. :) Mainly just in the "stuff" department. ;)

I'm 5'9". This is only interesting if you need someone to reach a high shelf or cabinet, and you're shorter than 5'9".

Oh, and I saw a man die a horrible death this one time.

(Now I kind of wonder how many people are thinking, "Is she serious or not? If I 'like' this, is that messed up?")
