Awesome thread!
I have a few, I'll share them and why:
1920s - Charlie Chaplin, The Charleston dance, and a lot of the music just seems to appeal to me.
1950s - Cars, music, lifestyle (things like hanging out at the ice cream parlor with friends).
1980s - Was in high school. Rubik's cubes, big hair bands, "Skate or Die", Nintendo, roller skating rinks and all-night skates, etc...
That is about it other than certain other time periods before the 1900s that I find interesting.
