Saw some of you talking about bugs... ticks and grasshoppers. Here is a picture of me holding one of the most curious and friendliest creatures that I have ever encountered. I saved him from getting caught up in the weed wacker. When I went to put him in a nearby bush, he didn't want to leave my hand and kept just staring at me curiously. lol

Isn't that a praying Mantis??? I've come across a few in my day too of those,they are not common. I was gonna bust yer' chops when you said "he wouldn't leave yer' hand & was staring at you curiously" & say that he was sizing you up & plotting your doom. LOL But they are very docile bugs & seem not to be afraid of people. I used to do a lot of painting of houses in/out when I was younger & would come across these now & then,in my way...so I'd have to relocate them. lol They are one of the few bugs that don't bother or terrify me.

I'm weed wackong today , mowed yesterday .. .. I have a bright lime green bandana on to cover my face I walked up to a tree to rest the weed eater on when it felt like something was watching me.. I looked around and there he was... Tail wrapped around the limb hanging down in the shape of a " J ".. A lime green garden snake.. He was so pretty .. He was hanging about three feet away from me..our colors matched.. He was lime green on top and a Kelly green on bottom .. Beautiful against the grey sky.. it was like he came down just to say hello..

Last night I was sitting on my covered porch watching a fire..
when out of nowhere this thing came flying around me... I thought it was a bat... It was that big...
It landed on the screen of my sliding glass door.. I was like "what is that ??"
It was a moth... I put my hand up to it when it spread it's wings .. The wings spread "past" the tips of my middle finger and past my wrist ... I have never seen anything like that here in Oklahoma .. it came again the next night too... It was the color of grey bark.. With cirlces that looked like eyes .. One one each wing.. White with a black circle in the middle.. Also reminded me of A wheel within a wheel and an eclipse .. It was gorgeous !!!
