Please pray for me i am in serious trouble. I feel delirous took a car i didnt even know who it belonged to(it was parked at my dads) just went for a ride for about ten minutes, lied to my husband, and found out that my son had a gun to his head, loaded, hammer cocked, and finger on the trigger. What am i to do? i have prayed, cried and laid on my face crying out to God. Is this a test?

I can't even....

Whatever is going on with you, I pray it passes quickly and that your life turns around.

First of all, are you in any trouble with the police over the car? Maybe it was not found out? Parked at your dad's, probably a friend, and you will not be in any trouble. But you and your husband need to let your dad know what happened.

The thing that needs prayer here is what has caused all three of these things to happen almost at the same time? By all means tell your husband the truth. You need his help to figure out what is going on.

Thank you for the advice and yes my father and his friend know and i am not in amy trouble. All my husband can do is yell and scream. I am trying so hard to see God at work in my home and I feel like the one who has failed. I have prayed and been prophesied over that I have been hand chosen and annointed, but I am really starting to wonder. I AM still standing on the promises, and trying to let go and let God.

I found out today that my son has almost attempted suicide 3 times over the last 3 years and it breaks my heart, PLEASE pray for me and my family.

The trouble is, when I pray, I often get parts of answers. This is such a case. How does your husband feel about your having been prophesied over that you are "hand chosen and anointed"? There's reason he's yelling and screaming, and your and his relationship is the first step in God fixing this thing.

Out of curiosity, how old is your son?

My husband does not really believe in prophesy, so i am not sure. My son is 15 and accidentally shot his bestfriend in our home about 3 years ago. This combined with everything else has almost driven him over the edge and it scares me to death because he is SOO much like his dad. Controlling, short tempered and always right. Thank ya'll for your prayers and PLEASE keep them going up.

When i read your posts, it sounds so chaotic...so much stress, hurt and anger...confusion...this must so hard to live amongst. It is hard to answer you, not knowing the wider details so all I can suggest is that you devote yourself to knowing God. It has been written here before, God is not at ATM, we cannot turn to Him when things reach a certain destructive point and expect to hear Him. Being anointed, or spoken over, is not a magical armour against poor choices and destructive behaviours. All of us have to constantly stay in the Word, living a life to glorify Him, being a witness to Him. We do this by knowing God and we get to know God by spending time with Him and aligning our lives to His teachings. Attend church? find strong believers to support and help you to accountability. Work at getting structure and calm into your life...our God is not a God of chaos but of peace, this will hopefully reverberate out to affect your family. Try to get your life into order...you have little control over others, none of us do, but we can be responsible for ourselves. It will not happen over night and it will take effort but God is a God of restoration and of hope. Fully depend on Him, Also, if your son is distressed, he needs professional help? can you source that for him...? God Bless you, <><

you should get your son some counseling and maybe some for yourself to deal with the guilt.

Why did your son have access to a gun at 12 years old and STILL have access to a gun at 15 after having shot his best friend three years ago?

I thought guns were suppose to be locked up out of reach of children.

Praying and hoping God helps you heal yourself and your family. ...

please find a way to lock up the guns away from your son.

Personally given your family's history with guns, I would get rid of them all from the house.

I agree with the two observations between this answer and my answer I'm posting here. There is much out of order in your home. First, you and your husband need to get together on who each of you are in Christ and to each other. Then what does God want you to be as a couple. You have to determine what has gone wrong with your son, and you have to do it together. Get a counsellor involved if you need to, but that's where this thing needs to start. You and your husband should be praying together every day. That these things happen is what I am praying for.
