If you have a church young adult group this is perfect for a fellowship gathering. There is no set recipe for this. Let me explain. Have everyone bring whatever they have to contribute in the way of vegetable, potatoes, spices etc. The host provides the meat. Everybody puts everything in a community pot and lets it simmer while the fellowship is going on. By the end of the fellowship the stew will be ready and it wil taste wonderful.

This comes from the twenties and thirties here in the United States when so many people were out of work during the great depression. The "Hobo's would gather what they could and contribute it to a communiy pot. In this way, everybody got somthing to eat and everybody contributed.

It sounds like a good idea, but there's always the possibility that some ingredients will be, to say, less fresh than optimal, and it might be a good idea to either personally inspect each food item and/or make a list of what can and can't be brought, or maybe both or something like that. A list of allergies from everyone would be a good idea.
