I am making a tomato meat sauce right now, at the stage of browning the meat, having chopped up a small orange pepper, some celery stalks, and what looks to be a baby zucchini. I will mince the onion when it is time to go in the pan, which is after the meat has cooked. I leave the meat in the frying pan and add all the veggies to sauté for a bit, after which I add the diced tomatoes (from a tin). Worcestershire sounds like a lovely addition, but alas, I have none. Nor Tabasco. I have had to give up overly spicy foods of late, so do not even add cayenne to my sauces any more  I have seasoned the meat with pink Tibetan salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Yum! :)

After the sauce has simmered for a while, I will boil some type of pasta noodle,
and when they have cooked to perfection, combine everything in a large bowl :D

These are the ingredients I use for pasta sauce:

Canned diced tomatoes
Onion(s)
Garlic
Mushrooms, green peppers, or zucchini chopped in small pieces (only one of these three)
Ground beef or kidney beans (only one of these two)
Salt
Pepper
Italian seasoning
Oregano

Thank you! I decided on spaghetti noodles; everything is cooked and mixed and cooling now.

It will be a bit of a late dinner (just after 8:30 PM here), but I will have left-overs for at least
3 or four more meals in the coming days, and I am not averse to spaghetti for breakfast LOL

PS~ I opted for Primo's thick and zesty garlic and herb tomato sauce :D

@TheIndianGirl ~ dang! haha I forgot to add mushrooms to the sauce :giggle:
