Schoolmarm's Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ok guys, I bragged about these in the lounge the other night and decided I should post the recipe so you guys can decide among yourselves to how awesome these really are.

Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups butter flavored Crisco (or butter, whichever works...we get better cookies using Crisco)
1-1/4 cups white sugar
1-1/4 cups brown sugar
4 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons of vanilla
2 eggs
3-1/2 cups of flour
2 teaspoons of salt
1-1/2 teaspoons of baking soda
2 cups of chocolate chips

Combine the Crisco, sugar, milk, vanilla and eggs and mix it until its creamy. Then add the flour, salt and baking soda. Mix well. After that you will add in the chocolate chips.

Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees and bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes. This should make about 5 dozen...I think.

very different. I stick to betty crocker's recipe myself. gotta have the real butter stuff

but the trick to getting ANY cookie to be chewy and gooey, is to cool them on foil on the table. you can just slide the foil from the cookie sheet to the table. i don't know why it works, but it does. cookie racks make for crispy cookies, bacon and chicken. not chewy.

huh...I'll have to keep that in mind next time I make them
