Well I read this news in "THE HINDU" dated 10-6-13 it said that a certain country has presented US with a statue of a Hindu goddess.....to be exact.....the statue of the goddess of knowledge.......and they are planning to plant it nearly a mile from white house.....and I've heard that people have started worshiping these idols in parts of Europe too......so let's pray that these nations which sent missionaries to our lands to preach us the Truth would keep away from the sin that God hates the most.......

I wonder where they're going to put it, they refuse to put crosses on public land. I hope they don't give an idol special treatment.

The statue has already been planted. It stands as a symbol of relations between two countries.
Most international relations are based on money (economy), and money is the root of all evil. That's the reason for the compromise.

The symbolism of the mythology of the ancients - the greeks, the romans, the egyptians- still literally is present everywhere today, especially related to institutions of power. So I guess an extra statue of a pagan godess like Saraswati shouldn't be a problem. Actually it might be a nice change from the grandiose masonic architecture of Washington DC.
True... the 'gods' are very popular these days, but no fear, there will always be an 'altar to the Unknown God.' (Acts 17:23)

and money is the root of all evil.
You need to check scripture before you quote it, or rather misquote it. It does not say 'money is the root of all evil'. It says 'the LOVE of money is the root of all evil'.

You're right, Ugly..."Love of money":) Can't dispute that, and that is what I actually meant.

The point I was making is that international relations are mostly based on financial gain, among other seemingly important factors. Therein begins the compromise with pagan culture.

Just now read this news US-SARASWATI - The Hindu I dont think this doesn't have attractive news lol.

Dont worry abt these.. Keep praying to makesure that Gospel to be preached and all Christians should represent Christ in their lives in USA. Even Indians have to do the same. Christians in India too represent Christ in their life which will turn gentiles to God..
