What a beautiful faith we can have in our Lord!
Yes!!!! Once we realize that the words are living, we can begin to truly understand. It took me so long to realize that! And now, I have a lot to learn.
The critical words in this verse that some people do not seem to register and it leads them to become demoralized are the following """if we ask any thing according to his will""" If we have asked for something in accordance with His will then we shall obtain what we have requested.. Oh and sometimes it may take some time between asking for something and recieving it..
My Pastor made a comment that I can't remember exactly, but it was basically that we spend so much time praying for our will to be done in Heaven when we should be praying for His Will to be done on earth.
