John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. "verily verily" means like "absolutely" and "hath" means you "possess" something. After you've...

Hey, I quoted Proverbs 23:11-17. I thought this was a "Bible" discussion in a "Christian" forum. Sounds like you disregard what the Bible says on this.

8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. I needed to build a pole barn. The building department asked on their questionnaire how much the building...

Proverbs 23: 11For their redeemer is mighty; he shall plead their cause with thee. 12Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge. 13Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. 14Thou shalt beat him with the rod...

The Bible says to use a rod but, you aren't allowed to do that so, good luck. Discipline must begin in the home. One thing that never helps there is for parent 1 to tell the kids to stop (...........) while parent 2 ignores/doesn't back them up. Then when parent 1 isn't home parent 2 just lets...

Galatians 6 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Then there's a verse about going to them in private. Also other verses about being a "busybody". I Peter 4:15 and 1...

The only places in scripture which actually define what "sons of God" are, refer to believers. I have a few points for you to consider........ #1 Satan had already been kicked out of Heaven, so it seems dubious that the interaction "before the Lord", in Job 1:6, took place in Heaven. #2...

The word "Allah" means "god" in Arabic. Calvinism/Reformed/doctrines of grace/whatever label you want has a "god" too, which is similar to "Allah": both have a narcissistic false-god (little g) and there's not much difference between the two other than minor details added to the particular...

Really? Some dude pops up on my Facebook feed using the story of "Jephthah" to teach that knowing alot about the Bible was not always the best thing to strive for. He basically said that, though Jephthah was well-versed in Biblical knowledge, he still messed up by uttering that infamous "foolish...

Acts 24 22And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter. 23And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he...

I watched the Temple Grandin movie like 3 times, cried every single time; not so much for pity, but because of how awesome her life turned out to be. Many years later, I had a grandson born with Autism. The little guy didn't talk until he was 2-1/2 years old. I remember where I was when I first...

Psalm 11 has some interesting things in it 11 In the Lord put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? BOTH the subject and direct object here are plural pronouns. Why would a group address an individual's soul (singular) as if speaking to a group? Very interesting...

I'm not familiar with this man's theology but, he hit the nail on the head right here........ https://bobrussell.org/stand-up-your-father-is-passing-by/

The point was...Paul was speaking to some born again folks who HAD BEEN homosexuals. And the point of that was to ask the question; How can the original poster say that "sodom and gomorrah people'' are "nonelects" when homosexuals had clearly been saved in 1 Corinthians 6?

Sorry to hear about your Dad. That is terrible.. My Dad was the first in our family to come to know Christ. I'll see him again one day too.
