I had a really strange dream last night. At times I was
dreaming, then at times it felt like a dream within a dream.
Then other times it felt as if I was having a lucid dream where
I was asleep but could control my thoughts and ask questions.

Anyway it started off where I was reading Romans 8 v 31 before
going to sleep if God is for us who can be against us. I was thinking
yeah but if God is for us why is life so hard with so many problems!

I had a bit of a rant at God then fell asleep.

(I should mention that over the past month I have been getting
vague dreams and pictures about butterflies). Anyway I dreamt I was
asking God about what this meant, then I had a sort of dream within a
dream where I was unfolding a pair of socks slowly, as I did the two halves
looked like the pattern of a butterfly, then there was a butterfly a big one.

I felt God told me that we are transformed and renewed into that
butterfly (from the old socks ha ha ). That each half of the butterfly is a
mirror image. That God is on one side and we are on the other side being
transformed to mirror Him!

So then I asked God "but why is life so difficult and do I really need so
much refining and transforming, am I really that bad?"

He said it's not just about you, it's about transforming your aunt and
also others.

Then I woke up!

Anyway it got me thinking, we are made in the image of God maybe
there is something there about spiritual transformation back to mirror God or
at least to reflect God.

I like the image of the butterfly for transformation because it is so easy to believe that the caterpillar knows nothing of what awaits him/her when he/she is spinning his/her cocoon before metamorphosing into a beautiful butterfly. We are still like those worms, crawling around in the dirt of this world, until we are remade in the incorruptible image of God and put on immortality. 1 Cor 15:53 rather refutes the notion that the soul of man is already immortal :D Life ever after is only attained through faith in Jesus Christ.

For the perishable must clothe itself with the
imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.

Miri your dream is absolutely amazing:D I had a dream a few years ago that your dream reminded me of when God said to you it's not just about you it's about your aunt and others. See a few years ago I was still trapped in my moms house no one cared or understood me we were what you would call a broken family and something I longed for more than anything was family real family I missed having family game and movie night I missed when we ate dinner at the table as a family I missed being loved.

I had a dream one night and I was in a pure white place and I saw a family who while not perfect were laughing together you could tell they had a real love for each other they truly cared and loved one other I longed for this so badly that it hurt inside and I asked them if I could join their family when suddenly a man in rags appeared and gave me a hug this hug was so warm that it felt like when you are out in the cold of the night and then come in to the fire place in the harsh winter and it was so enriched with love as well and he said to me you have to make your family like this.

I knew this man was Jesus and to this day I wonder how on earth I am supposed to make my family like that family I saw I always figured if anyone could do it then it would be God. and your dream explains how is going to do it- my forming me into a mirror image of him ty miri♥

I'm a bit envious. Most of my dreams are about finding a private place for a toilet because I really have to go. Then I wake up because I really have to go.

Your dream is better. I think you have the gift of prophecy/encouragement. But don't think it's just about your aunt and others, (although you just encouraged me too, so it really is.) God did really tell you, "Yeah. You still need more work too."

In the words of one of my favorite teachers, "Cheer up! You're worse than you think." (That's all about how much God has to work out in us, but he has been gracious enough not to let us know exactly how bad we are.)

Oh I have those dreams too about bursting to go to the loo and unable to find anywhere. Lol

I think God will keep working on us all until the day we see him face to face, wouldn't it be nice
though if we had an upper limit. Like 40 years and then you are cooked to perfection or
something!

I just finished my daily dose of Spurgeon, (not to be confused with a fish called a sturgeon.) And it struck me as something we both could use for encouragement.

November 26

Morning
“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.”
- Ecc_9:10
“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do,” refers to works that are possible. There are many things which our heart findeth to do which we never shall do. It is well it is in our heart; but if we would be eminently useful, we must not be content with forming schemes in our heart, and talking of them; we must practically carry out “whatsoever our hand findeth to do.” One good deed is more worth than a thousand brilliant theories. Let us not wait for large opportunities, or for a different kind of work, but do just the things we “find to do” day by day. We have no other time in which to live. The past is gone; the future has not arrived; we never shall have any time but time present. Then do not wait until your experience has ripened into maturity before you attempt to serve God. Endeavour now to bring forth fruit. Serve God now, but be careful as to the way in which you perform what you find to do-”do it with thy might.” Do it promptly; do not fritter away your life in thinking of what you intend to do to-morrow as if that could recompense for the idleness of to-day. No man ever served God by doing things to-morrow. If we honour Christ and are blessed, it is by the things which we do to-day. Whatever you do for Christ throw your whole soul into it. Do not give Christ a little slurred labour, done as a matter of course now and then; but when you do serve him, do it with heart, and soul, and strength.

But where is the might of a Christian? It is not in himself, for he is perfect weakness. His might lieth in the Lord of Hosts. Then let us seek his help; let us proceed with prayer and faith, and when we have done what our “hand findeth to do,” let us wait upon the Lord for his blessing. What we do thus will be well done, and will not fail in its effect.

Actions speak louder than words.
Just do it
Move forward taking one day at a time.
Step but step, little by little

All things I have told myself over the last year or so, there is no other way to
do life, especially when we are in the thick of it.

All things I have told myself over the last year or so, there is no other way to
do life, especially when we are in the thick of it.
Last spring the latest resident to my pain doctor was confused. After I asked for a higher dose of pain meds, he asked me what my days looked like. I told him, so he told me "If you can do all that, you're living an active lifestyle. So, why do you need more pain relief?"

I burst out crying, (briefly), and said, "I can't do this, but what choice do I have but do it? That's the problem."

Funny though, he did convince my doctor to up the script, I took one, got to disoriented to drive, so could only use those pain pills at night, when I stopped going-and-going. I don't have to drive anymore to see John. The rest has to keep getting done, but I've given up the idea that it all gets done. Sometimes we just go off to have fun, and so what if it piles up? Clean clothes in a basket works just as well as they do in a drawer. lol

(God's keeping us going, even if we object. ;))

We get transformed from being walked on, to overcome. Its true that our walk and transformations get influenced by our closest family and friends (and all in all because we care). When we see change in them we also start changing. and it gives us motivation , hope and makes us happy and we start unfolding our wings and get a boost in our walk and presence.

.does that make sense..lol thats what the meaning seems to me

I love that body of Christ we rise, and are unified each part working together

I love that too

"He said it's not just about you, it's about transforming your aunt and

And unity is important the pruning pruning back from the Father cutting off sin repenting achieves that unity.
Pruning i dont know much about but it is our sin problems and sins of others that we can enter the kingdom of Heaven as a child but i wont talk about humility cause im not there YAY! Heaven! Awesome thought!
