There is nothing like a dose of adversity to make us realise we don't have all the
answers, we are not as self sufficient as we thought, it also helps with the not
judging others too. It also helps with getting those priorities in order and understanding
that most of what we think and do is of no importance!
I have learnt this and more over the years. More importantly I have learnt that the
only trustworthy person in my life is God, no matter how much you think family
and friends are there for you they all have limited capacities and resources in every
sense. They are just ordinary humans like me but God's capacities and resources are infinite.
It shocked me a lot to realise that I can't even rely on so called experts, the medical
estsblishment, so called Carer's. They may have more knowledge than me in their field
and for that I am grateful as that knowledge has proved to be very valuable. But they also
are just normal fallible human beings with limited resources and capacities.
God really is God and I am not. Neither is anyone else despite the fact that they would
like to think they are. Thank God He is a good good father.
