Doubts and The Divine​


Judgments rain down.
But You, O Lord, reign so much greater.

There are but two
forces working here.

Good

and evil.

To call it secular
religious
normal
Or even insane

Is merely an end
to diminish
the truth.

Your children jeopardize
Their very souls
With each utterance denying You.

I hurt.
I feel insecure.
I am, in and of myself, inadequate.

I grieve for this.

Yet, Your power
Is made perfect
in my weakness.

Help me, Lord Jesus, to remember this.
Amen.
