Neither do I. That's not God crapping on me. That's God layering a whole bunch of elephant-dung-wonderfully-rich-in-nutrient compost* on me to make me become the healthy plant he designed me to be. THAT is the difference. God uses crap to grow us -- if we want it or not. lol

*As far as composting goes, if you can get horse dung or cow dung for your compost, get it. It is some of the best dung for composting. BUT elephant dung truly is the best of the best. The only reason most of gardeners don't use it is because who has elephants around pooping it? (Barnum and Bailey just retired their elephants, so no chance of getting it ever again in the US.)

Humm I have a zoo nearby. Will you post the bail for me if I get caught? And I agree with all you said.

Can't recommend the show because I've never seen it.

Ok so I get poo at the zoo from the elephant. Now how do I catch a dag on rabbit?

Tell me how your god did this to you. And why.
Ricky there is a way to handle this situation and responding like this is not the way.
Try to imagine how she feels put your feet in her shoes for a minute. she has had it rough in life really rough maybe even worse than me, not everyone can handle that kind of pain so easily. Her heart still has open wounds and as I said before the wounds of the heart are the hardest and slowest to heal. What she needs to be able to help quicken the healing process is not debates and is not responding to her like this, she needs understanding she needs people who not only know and understand what she is going through and how she is handling it the best she can but people to help her to encourage her to be there for her.

Everyone has been through battles even ppl who had everything given to them in life who have never had to lift a finger or do anything for themselves have wounds inside that are just as important as the wounds I bear or what depleted bears. We all have a blade and a blade is a useful thing it can be used to cut down to harm to kill but it can also be used to heal it can be used and utilized to protect it can be used for anything really depending on the wielder using it.

What kind of blade does need she right now? and what kind of blade are you wielding?
Sorry, that was not intended to be taking a swing. It was more an attempt to dig a little deeper and get a bigger picture, hopefully minus the snarkiness. Right now Depleted is lashing out, I'd like to hear the story without the lashes. Maybe that's wishful thinking on my part. I mean, I offer alternatives and D lashes out, I ask for deeper clarification and D lashes out. Sometimes a b*tchslap is what's needed to shake people out of their doldrums. But that's not what I was going for here. Yet.

Jesus' followers?

You mean like Stephen, who was killed for taking care of widows and kids because that is what Christ would have him do?

Or like Paul, (the guy who helped kill Stephen), who was blinded as the first act of the divine Christ, was put in prison more than once, was shipwrecked, lived with a thorn in his side, almost died from some illness only to regain his health to be imprisoned and killed by Rome, because he followed Christ to the end?

Peter? Who had a lot of grief as the main dude in Jerusalem, (by Paul again lol), and was ultimately killed for teaching what Christ taught him?

Every single Christian in Alexandria who were slaughtered?

These are the people you claim God himself sat back and did nothing for. It was not God who did that to them. He couldn't help it. Satan won for a while, so he hired us as deputies, and we still can't do it.

THIS is the history you'd deny to give Satan way too much glory and ability to do. That is the God you discount with excuses.

Clay is made out of dead animals, dead plants, and yes -- CRAP! And these are the words of the guy who helped kill Stephen, who drove Peter to the brink, and who had a horribly tough life with a wonderful treasure inside him. I am not ashamed of the elephant dung God has heaped me with. It has become a part of the tulip I am becoming.

2. Cor. 4:7-16
7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. 8 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. 11 For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12 So death is at work in us, but life in you.
13 Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, “I believed, and so I spoke,” we also believe, and so we also speak, 14 knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and bring us with you into his presence. 15 For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God.
16 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. 17 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, 18 as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
I'm done too. Sometimes people are just going to insist on wallowing in despair and they're going to reject any and all attempts to help them with that. I would just say that when people make an effort to help you out of the cesspool, it's not right to fling sewage in their faces. So I go back to what I previously apologized for; enjoy your wallow because obviously you're content in it and not looking for anything better.

I thought I should...add my input here.

Since first posting in this thread, I have prayed nonstop, and gave thanks for everything. I've understood MANY, MANY different perspectives here. I have seen hearts poured out and revealed.

I have gladly swallowed the hurtful stabs and swipes at my character, and have gladly given thanks and gratitude for the kind people who understood where I came from. I do not want to name people, as not to include/exclude the right/wrong people, but you know who you are, and you have my gratitude either way for sharing your heart and mind with me.

I am at rest now. Agreed, this thread has gone on long enough, but it has brought forth a definite discussion on how we view our faith. Some of us want more, some of us are happy with what he have, some hold a grudge, some live in joy.

I merely shared what was on my heart. It was never to be taken as absolute truth. Something was learned, though...

Fear is death. Faith is life.

Fear = False Expectations Appearing Real
Faith = Forwarding All Issues Towards Heaven

We either live in fear or faith.
Many perspectives have been shared.

You are either IN the Kingdom, or OUT of the kingdom.
Getting TO the kingdom...is the TEST.

I once again apologize for starting this storm.
I'm sorry for placing unfair standards against following the LORD, and not being appreciative.
I'm sorry for being the one to put this subject under a magnifying glass for all to observe and remark on.

Your word is who you are. (Great line from The Hunt For Red October)

When you speak, make sure your words are indeed absolute truth. Regardless of how your words are received, at least your integrity will remain in tact because you spoke the truth.

elephant crap is really efficacious.
mom used to take the station wagon down to the mall parking lot whenever the circus was in town and load it up. they were happy to off-load the crap, so it was free.
and mom's garden -- man, those vegetables were lush! good stuff, and not very stinky either.

No one is against you sharing your heart, your fears, struggle with faith. Its how you say it.Once again I will say "God is Holy" so just keep that in mind when you post. I hope you also realize you need to change your priorities. Money and success is nothing unless God is the center of it all. You want to share you'll find all kinds of people to listen and help you. But of you are nasty to other posters and say some of those disrespectful things about the Lord, well some of us will chide you. Ive been chided in my life,I didn't always like it,but it helped me to grow spiritually. I respect my spiritual elders, they know more than I do,they're been further down the road.I've learned to speak less and listen more. You can take the advice or leave it but I felt to share it anyway.

H'm, well. Being human, it probably had a little of that in it too :p But it truly was forgiveness.
Yeah, the temptation to be mom (or momma bear) is tough. :)

My brother raised rabbits, originally to sell to pet shops during the Easter season, but he kept raising them as an adult. (I'm not sure why, although I wouldn't be surprised to find out they became snake food.) He had a lawn, but wasn't into mowing, so he set the rabbit cages (completely wired cages) on the lawn spot by spot. The rabbits ate the grass they could reach, leaving a trimmed lawn below them, and then pooped it out for a perfectly fertilized lawn too. Best lawn in the county. lol

BUT SERIOUSLY, THO...

- Rabbit poop can be composted, or simply worked into the soil. It doesn't burn the way uncomposted horse or cow does.
- It has more nutrients, ergo grows things better.
- It comes in convenient little pellets, as opposed to golf ball-sized turds.
A gardener after my own heart. Let's talk poop. LOL

Box, stick, long piece of string, carrot, and patience.

(Ewwww, patience again!)

I offered you a link that tells what's been happening since last November. You never clicked it. So, not digging that hard.

Doldrums? Really? Really?

Sounds like a good deal! All that I know about elephant poop is that it's so fibrous that they can and actually do make paper out of it.

Yep! Exactly what I did for years. Made pretty good money at it too, until the local market slowed down. I had a deal going with a local Tractor Supply Co. store and sold breeding stock besides. I did a rabbit show once, too. That was fun. Been missing it, in a weird way.

Pooooop! Yeah, it's a great consistency for just mixing it right in there. Doesn't smell, either. Grows some pretty impressive tomatoes! I've heard bat guano is great stuff, but it's so hot that it has to be composted for a good long while before you can even use it.

I recommend some foot powder to disinfect the foot and the mouth. Followed immediately by raspberry brownies to get the taste out. Might need some gargle as deep as you're sticking your foot in, but I'm really not found of minty mouthwash and hate Listerine even more, so go for a third or fourth brownie. That's a whole lot of foot you've been swallowing.

That cesspool smell you're sensing? Can't help you there. That's your thing, not mine.

And what's the point of apologizing when
A. You're still not sorry,
B. You have no idea what you've done yet,
C. Apologize mean nothing. Just a pat little answer to look right?

(I'm being much more gracious than you can imagine, even with this chip on my shoulder. I don't offer raspberry brownies to just anyone!)
