Just curious. I know we've got writers aplenty around here, but I wasn't sure about artists. Care to share? (Don't be bawdy!)
Mine are nothing special. I've never had lessons, just self-taught, mostly the random stuff I see in my head... I never finish them. I literally have a half dozen or more sketchbooks with half of the pages drawn on and 9/10ths of the drawings 2/5ths unfinished. I'm dead serious.

Like I said, half finished. The bad photography adds to the effect, don't you agree? xD

I haven't really drawn anything in a long time. If I can find the box that's got all my old drawings in it, I'll put some up. What is that runic on the throne say?

Awesome!
If I remember correctly, the runes were the letters to spell out "FAIR ONE" in English.

I have some digital art i entered into competitions recently if that counts? And some typography I was messing around with. It's not as respectable to me as hand drawn art which I'm not that great at :p

I draw quite a lot, but I mostly draw anime characters. I can draw all kinds of realistic skulls though, I am actually naturally great at them but I don't know how to take a picture of them and then post them because I don't have a camera. any tips?

I was a really good artist in Kindergarten. My teacher made sure to tell me that, but my art skills have gone down hill from there.

By the way, my mom was my Kindergarten teacher.

Nice! I like that car and 'Grace'. I started to get into digital art, but the concept of the clean lines that are the essence of fine digital art are totally foreign to me LOL. Most of my would-be digital art is actually looks unintentionally creepy-weird and is -- you guessed it -- unfinished.

Color me impressed! Like I said, clean lines and I, we just don't understand each other very well. I'm a former member of the dA society myself. My more successful images were almost invariably pithy captionings of work that wasn't mine, although I did have some drawings, digital stuff... But more photography than anything else.

I got commissioned yesterday to draw five pictures of… trout. Of rainbow and brown trout (who buys pencil sketches of rainbow trout…?). For a silver ring of my choice (hey, silver's money, too!). NEVER AGAIN. I AIN'T DRAWIN' NO MO FISH FO A LAAAAAWWWWWWWNG TIME!! … or until the guy wants his fifth and final picture. I would be okay with ne'er seeing another trout for many moons…
I was up til 12 last night trying to get 'em all done.

creepy and weird is the best kind in my opinion. i like bizarre art. and i have the same issue with pencil drawings. i never finish them for some reason. so i end up with half a piece that is shaded and looking ok and then he other half is hairy sketch lines that looks like a child's work. dunno why i've never been able to finish them. lack of patience i guess.

I like this because you used the word "pithy".
